Although we did not play brilliantly, we still managed to grind a 3-1 victory. Sissoko was our best player, he has improved immensely from last season, long may it last. COYS!!!!
I wanted him rested not because I thought he was playing poorly.
I was referring to the Disagree rating you gave to my post hoping that Chelsea win. (Boy, was that a pipe-dream though given what's happening!)
What did tielemans do?
Didn’t even notice him on the pitch.
No, I'm aware of that. I still don't rate him because of his size. His pace can take him past a slower fullback, but up against anyone with similar pace and I don't think he has anything else in his locker that can help him beat his man. He's hardly torn up any trees since moving from Birmingham. I think Championship is his level at present. Whether he can develop is a different story, but I just don't see him adding anything to our squad. Moura is in a similar mould and he's better than Gray.he is an excellent young wide attacker... he is not a center forward
Yeah, but we need both Liverpool and Man City to drop points. What's the point of Man City pressuring Liverpool if they then build on a win to take top spot?Oh.
Well, above is why I don't want Chelsea to win.
Not only that, I'd sooner City are pressuring Liverpool. It'll mean the binners are more likely to drop points.
They ain't gonna be feeling as much pressure if City are three behind, and us, five...
Plus it keeps us out of the title challenge talk a bit more. Best all round if City win.
Gray was £9 million Maddison £25 million and Tielemens is a loan... I am not a scout but I thought we should have got all these players before we went to Leicester...
I think when you look at Tielemans (at least on this display) it shows that we don't need the Ndombele's and Kovacic's etc who would cost a small fortune to improve our central midfield.
On the whole it's unlikely we win it, let's face it. So if we were to end up 2nd and Liverpool 3rd come final day I will laugh my ass off for the entire summer.Yeah, but we need both Liverpool and Man City to drop points. What's the point of Man City pressuring Liverpool if they then build on a win to take top spot?
Anyway, agree to disagree, I think.
The kid has the technical ability to play at a higher level it is so obvious. was gutted we didnt take him.

if he does well we wont be able to afford him... should have done a loan option dealIf he continues to impress maybe he could be an option come the summer. I'd like to think we'd be highly interested in any proven talent in the centre of midfield that is somewhat affordable.
He's been at Leicester for three years already. Surely there'd be some sign of it by now? Also, I said 'small', when I should have said, 'slight'. I just don't see it, I really don't.he is 5`11 not small... I believe is his more of a creator than moura but moura is more of a direct threat. Gray is 22 and will get better in a top side.
just back from the game. Was that ref performance as big a stinker as it appeared in the ground??
honestly mate embarrassing comment...
Just messing with you mate.I wanted him rested not because I thought he was playing poorly.
I’ve seen more quality floating in the pipes connecting the khazi to the sewage plants than in the entirety of Oliver’s performance this afternoonI asked the same question. Have a flick through this thread after the match ended and you’ll get a resounding answer! (Yes is it if you can’t be bothered!)
It’s difficult when you (bother) to actually go to the games to watch all of the opponents performances. I apologise for not having sky sports on on my phone during the match.
