Hoping for a comprehensive win today. Would be delighted if we could give the goals+ column a good boost.

Birthday today, so unsurprisingly I'm out on the pop. Meeting plenty of mates at 11.00, lunchtime Spurs, followed by Scottish National racing. (y)

Hungover by tea time. Lovely lol.
Or are you still under 40 ;)

Honestly I'm late 40s and considering what a total pisshead I was I just cant take it anymore.
That said I get a lot of headaches anyway so hard to tell if its the booze or a hangover without the fun bit :(

Have a great day (y)

A win is massive for us with Chelsea away at Liverpool and Arsenal away at Watford this weekend. As always, heads have to be on this one from the start.

Just to tempt fate a bit more, Huddersfield have picked up 2 points in the league since their last win on 5th November. 11 losses on the bounce leading up to today. :bored:

We're winning this.

I’m on my way for first trip to new home. Haven’t felt this child-like excitement about going to a game since about 1994... ?????

Just read what Poch said about having a good squad, players had a hard game in the week and it's not about resting players it's about giving energy and fresh legs. Sounds like he's making a fair few changes.

Lloris, Davies, Sanchez, Toby, KWP, Sissoko, Wanyama, Eriksen, Son, lucas, Llorente

Would be my guess. Rest Rose, Trippier, Winks for Weds.

They'll scrap, but if we can't win this we might as well forget the top 4

There has to be changes of some sort, with Kane and Dele out. The most important thing is that we play with energy and blitz them from the word go. We need Eriksen, Son and Moura to step up and deliver. If Llorente starts, he can’t be isolated up top. Really hope we play a 4231 or variant of 41212, but definitely not a 343 which will choke our moment

Intrigued to see how we set up for this player wise. Without wishing to state the obvious, we've got little, if any, room for failure given our position league wise.

On that basis, it's paramount we win, therefore I do not wish us to be the casual 'let's have a go in the last ten minutes' that I've witnessed on occasion this season.

Up and at 'em from the off please.

I know but then I looked at the ' strong squad' actually available and got a bit worried

Had the weirdest dream that Gazzaniga scores a hat trick. Laying off the cheese before bedtime from now on.

Just in case Spurs game is dull maybe some quality at White Hart Lane.

FANCY A FEAST OF FOOTBALL?

Our match is not the only one taking place in Tottenham on Saturday.

Haringey Borough FC is also in action at the CVS Van Hire Stadium (Coles Park) on White Hart Lane against Kingstonian, kick-off 3pm.

Our local non-league team sit second in the Bostik League Premier Division with just four games of the season remaining – giving them a great chance of securing a play-off place.

Entry is free for anyone with a Spurs ticket or access card, so if you have a free afternoon and can’t get enough football, why not head down to the Borough? The stadium is a 30-minute walk from ours.
Treasonous behaviour to encourage Spurs fans to go and watch our fiercest local rivals. #BetterDeadThanYellowAndRoyalBlue

Interesting to see how Eriksen performes today. Been better the last two games. Needs to step up and take charge today with Dele and Harry out

I would be so, so happy if Vic could get back up to speed. He'd allow Winks to be more progressive in his play and would be a perfect anchor to let Sissoko run riot. I also hope Fernando gets another chance. This is just the game for him to get on the score sheet and fire him up for the run in. If he does get the nod I hope we fire crosses into the box from all angles, not piss about til we're 3 yards from the byeline. Play to his strengths and he can get the goals.

We cannot afford to just turn up and expect to roll them over for the 3 points. Yes their form has been truly awful, but that doesn't mean we can afford to relax for this fixture. What sometimes happens ironically is that relegated teams have a knack of playing better when the pressure is off and they have nothing to lose. We have to approach this game on the basis that this is what will happen and we need to put in some serious graft today to get the win, then we can relax and watch the others around us scrap for the points over the rest of the weekend whilst we rest and plot to deal with one hell of onslaught City will throw at us for 180 mins over two successive games next week.
