With all due respect Southampton and Burnley are different class to Huddersfield, they're one of the worst prem teams of all time. When I say no respect I mean we need to treat this the same way United used to treat teams back in the early 2000s
The comparison between Soton and Burnley with Huddersfield is not relevant. The comparison between Soton and Burnley and us is. We should not have lost those games. But we did. Why? For many reasons. But one of them was we didn't accord them enough respect, certainly in the second half against Southampton we were utterly complacent and we paid the price.

What do we lose by guarding against complacency?

EDIT: Every team, every team, will be itching to inflict our first home defeat against us from now until it happens. If we think just crossing the line is going to win us the game, we make that more likely to happen sooner rather than later.

I never said dont guard against complacency I just said give them no respect. There's a difference between showing no respect and not being arrogant, just feel like too many spurs fans overthink it because of their own anxiety, they're shit, we should smash them.

Exactly what was said about Southampton and Burnley.

I want to smash them too, I think we can, and I think we will, but showing them no respect risks a terrible upset.

If we can't beat Huddersfield at home then we don't deserve to be in the CL race.

No excuses, let's end this game after 60 minutes and start resting the lads for Wednesday.

Just be professional, dominate possession and we'll be fine.

Then start thinking about Wednesday, but not before the match is over on Saturday.

Hopefully the new stadium buzz and momentum from the last two wins there will be enough to push our patched up team over the line.

It’s one of those games that if we get an early goal it should be a straightforward win. If not, it could be one of those nervy games with us trying to break down a team sitting with 11 behind the ball.

Hope not - Janssen hasn't earned it.

He's been back training with the first team for a few weeks now. If he's shown 100% commitment, then why not? Vinny represents a £17m investment, so giving him the chance to either prove his value to us or to another club which needs a striker makes sense.

With the second leg next Wednesday we have been dealt a good hand with Huddersfield, I know we shouldn't be complacent but it has to be the easiest game of the season and we are playing midday on Saturday so let's take advantage of it. I think we really should play Llorente as we are going to need his ability to win the clearance and hold up play at some point during the run in and this is the best opportunity to give him game time.

We're our own worst enemy in games like this. Start in Swarm Mode (copyright. Mauricio Pochettino. 2015), blow them away with 3/4 goals by half time, then kill the game in the second. Done.

No swanning about like they're just going to give it to us, heads already in the nightclub.

This could be a cracker. Huddersfield are down so what's the point in them sitting deep? Might as well come out and play the game.

Hi everyone
Just a heads up for anyone who wishes to go to the games against Huddersfield or Brighton, and is in a wheelchair, or has a friend or relative with disabilities.
I've just listed my wheelchair season ticket in the South Stand for the Huddersfield and Brighton games.
It was a total faff getting it listed to be honest, so I've no idea how you go about buying the ticket.
Contact the club, and they'll hopefully sort you out (y)

Janssen injured as well. If Dele is out we have no attacking sub. Surely must be Parrott time.
