I do wonder if Vic is going through the same kind of mental block that was reported of Winks and Lamela? When he went down today, I’m sure we all thought the same, but he got up and played the rest of the game - although somewhat at a lesser pace and intensity. Maybe Poch kept him on to push him that bit harder?

Early kick off
Tame opponents
How was the atmosphere today?
Atmosphere in the North struggled today compared to the other games (cant really compare with champs league though) mainly in my mind due to the sitting down taking hold. Pretty much all the previous games we stood (rightly or wrongly) and atmosphere was class.

It was Huddersfield though and the early kick off so let's see. I loved the standing whilst it lasted.

What a day. Superb win for Spurs, picked out the Scottish National winner @25/1 and never an empty glass all day.

Still got drinks put in over the bar, so hair of the dog it is.

Moura you feckin beauty. COYS !!

Not much difference between him and Sissoko today in terms of output, but because Vic has set a high bar for himself with his past performances he gets more criticism.

I must have been watching a different game. Moussa covered virtually every blade of grass trying to help out Big Vic who was well off the pace

How on earth do people expect him to be 'at his best' after the time he's had? For a player who's been out for months and months I think he did extremely well today. He won his tackles, passed accurately, covered plenty of ground and scored a goal. What else was he doing when he was 'at his best'? People keep saying 'there's a long way to go', whatever that means. He put in a shift for 90 minutes today and although it was a pretty easy run out, he didn't look the least bit out of place. What else do people expect? For a player who was supposedly headed for the scrap heap I thought he was pretty impressive and he did his job efficiently and effectively.

As far as I can tell Vic came back into the squad on January 23rd which is almost 3 months ago

Unless I’m wrong and he’s had setbacks since then he’s been on the training ground every day, been on the bench most weeks and has had the odd run out here and there

That is a pretty decent amount of time to be back training with the 1st XI and his level of play now to pre injury must be a major concern

I have absolutely no idea what you were watching yesterday that brings you to that conclusion.

I am comparing Vic pre and post injury v the quality of the opposition

I’m worried. Poch must be shitting himself with our current CM options
