For some reason, I have just looked at the league table... 5 home defeats this season... 15 points lost... Not good but we can't do anything about it now, except beat this lot tonight. If we win, 4th place is there for us, because they will surely lose points in the last 2 games. I'm positive!

The last two days have been focussed on a pitch presentation I have just done. Now that im done with it I am now excited about the game tonight. It is tinged slightly by the fact that even if we win we are still behind them. I know it should be about being Arsenal and thats it but there is more to it.

If only Brighton didnt score in that last minute but dont want to focus on the if onlys.

Kane and Son turn up, we win. Simple.
Way too simple. You are presupposing that we can get the ball to them. I expect Arsenal to block up the passing lanes to our front three, after they saw it work for Brighton and Brentford, who are also sides that rely on passing football and not 10-men-behind-the-ball.

Arteta is not the same kind of arrogant coach as Guardiola (and Conte), who only plays one way. He will be adapting his tactics to keep the ball away from where we can do damage.

We'll also need the back 3 to play as well as they did against Liverpool. If they get pulled about by Nketiah or Smith-Rowe or Saka, who have pace and good movement, Lloris will get peppered.

3 days of trying, and I finally got a ticket off the exchange.

I'll be shouting the roof off tonight. COYS.
I blagged one yesterday, I doubt you'll hear my shouting over the sounds of corks popping and the crisp lettuce crunching in my prawn sandwich's. :grumpy:

Just leaving now.

Obviously I want to win, and hope we smash them. But, it’s just important to not lose tonight, as a win or draw doesn’t change the fact that they need to at least draw one of their final 2 games. i.e. A win tonight would elevate us 1 point clear in that scenario, with a draw taking us level on points, but higher with a better goal difference.
A draw means they would have to lose one and at least draw one and we win our last 2. A win or nothing tonight, any less and top 4 is over.

Get it right we win-simple.

BBC sport pre match stuff, are talking up Arteta as Arsenal’s saviour - pages of the stuff -it even included a an olive tree (out side his office apparently) which is a metaphor for a team without superstars WTF. This normally is the kiss of death for me-bigging up someone before they have actually achieved anything.
He's done a good job but he has also taken advantage of no European football. Last time he had European football he got 8th and they won something like their last 5 games to get them there. Last time Conte had no European football he won the title. There's levels to management and Conte is a whole other level to Arteta. If he were Utd manager you can be sure the media would be talking Conte up a lot more.

If they drew their last 3 games we could top them on GD if we won our last two. Very unlikely however.

I just want a big win tonight and then whatever happens next, happens.
