Sell before you buy, but i mentioned last month that I can foresee mordic finally leaving on the Friday afternoon on August the 31st and us scrambling around all over the place trying to do last minute charlie Adam top deals.

I definitely know what you mean here!

I'm hoping that a lot of these deals do actually get done before we hear about them, and that the announcements are delayed on purpose for whatever reason. Or perhaps we can sign off on an incoming player but state that it relies upon the sale of Modric, so even if Luka leaves on the 31st we already have everything else in place for the incomings.

that's a lot of players sold/released

so where's all that money gone, where's all the new signings

You do realise we are moving in to a multi million pound, state of the art training facility, which is the envy of 99.9% of the competition? Also funding a brand new stadium, of which we have already spent tens of millions on so far.

We can't afford to be carrying squad players on 40k a week.

It's going to be a busy few days it seems, with more outs than ins but hopefully we can get in one or two of the required quality.

Bassong was great in his first season, but he seems one of those players that can only operate at decent
Level when playing every week and as he is not quite top 4 level he's is no good coming off the bench
