Made sense for just 2000 but 10000 is half of all the previous season ticket holders pre new stadium, so very justifiable to do via lost points. It probably will be a ballot, the arsenal game was. The cup final was just loyalty points as per standard procedure for finals/ semis I think
According to The Trust it will be via ballot, which is the right decision.Made sense for just 2000 but 10000 is half of all the previous season ticket holders pre new stadium, so very justifiable to do via lost points.

Subjective whether it’s the right decision, those of us who’ve made years of sacrifice too build up a healthy bank of loyalty points probably feel we deserve preferential treatment, but equally if that’s the way they do it, so be it.According to The Trust it will be via ballot, which is the right decision.

That’s fair. I’m just a bit bitter at the obvious rigging of the ballot to ensure the Spurs bloggers and anyone with a social media presence got selected for the Arsenal home match.Whilst I pretty much agree with you on balance it probably makes sense to make a home fixture to all ST holders available via a ballot system
Away fixtures have always been distributed by way of loyalty points and a equal opportunity for all ST holders at home, to attend, feels right

Depends if Arsenal are our first game at homeDo we need to be vaccinated to be season ticket holders?
Nope - even if the government does insist on 'vaccine passports' (which they're not for e.g. the games in May with 10k supporters) you'd be able to take a Covid test instead. And in any case, everyone should've been offered at least the first dose and a large majority the second before the start of next season.Do we need to be vaccinated to be season ticket holders?
Come on mate. There’s been a global pandemic and people have been locked in their houses for a year and have missed the escape of going to football.
Many of us would have lost money/jobs and now those same fans are being forced to take time off work if they want to attend. Losing more money if they’re self employed or take from their holiday allowance, it’s bullshit.
Happy? I tolerate it but no more than that. If Sky fucked off, the 6-figure-a-week salaries ended and matchgoing fans became the priority again I'd be over the moon. It's not like it helps Spurs when all our rivals get the same or more, it just helps footballers and shareholders at the expense of everyone else.
Genuine question (from a ST holder with enough loyalty points to have got a league cup final ticket comfortably):Subjective whether it’s the right decision, those of us who’ve made years of sacrifice too build up a healthy bank of loyalty points probably feel we deserve preferential treatment, but equally if that’s the way they do it, so be it.
