Racism still rife in football...

I was watching the Man Utd and Liverpool game and noticed one fan gesticulating to Ngog in the second half which I have no problem with, but then it turned into racial chanting, "You black bastard!". Did anyone elso notice this?

I find this behaviour appalling, are we ever going to stamp out racism from our beautiful game?

Some little shit next to me started shouting all kinds of nonsense at Darren Bent after he missed the penalty against us for Sunderland at WHL. It was disgusting, i gave him a dirty look and his dad told him to tone it down.

The blatant hypocrisy of football fans throughtout the years in terms of racism has always been bizarre. For example, it would be like us saying that sort of thing to a black player of another club then on the other hand really loving Ledley King as our hero. It makes no sense.

I'm glad this sort of thing is less common in this day and age cos there's really no place for it in society as a whole or in the confines of a football stadium.
