would Richarlison get into Liverpool 1st team or indeed city

says it all...
No he wouldn't! It's worth pointing out that he wouldn't get into ours right now either as far as last seasons form was concerned.

Thing is how many forwards that we could afford and are available would get into the side over Son, Kane or Kulu?

It's a moot point really because that wouldn't be the point of buying him. We aren't looking to vastly improve the front line we are looking to add depth to it. If that player ends up pushing one of them out of the "all fit and in form" best starting XI then great, but it's one area just bolstering with quality is what's required.

This goes for any forward we bring in not specifically this guy.

Not to harp on about him, but we definitely need a Jota. Rather than Troy or Dane.

All of Richarlison / Jesus / Raphinha fit that.

Raphinha is a fine player, but I see him more as a wide player first, striker second.

Also none of the three mentioned or the others we have been linked with would be happy sitting on the bench! Hopefully it pushes everyone onto a new level.

Sure - more of a point as to quality.

I think he’s the best of the three quality wise, but the other two probably fit better if we’re in the market for a striker who can also play wide.

Ideal world we sign Raphinha and a CF, but with Moura likely staying that’s clearly not going to happen.

I think if budgets allowed, raphinha plus someone like Scamacca would be the dream. I’ve softened on Richarlison in terms of utility but Raphinha is a different level of player technically.

He could stay a bit further out of London to avoid too much media interest ....and maybe catch up with some old team mates? I suggest the Best Western in central Watford? Had to stay there last night at very short notice due to trains North being screwed. £65 a night, basic, 70s avocado green bathrooms and no aircon. Takeaways and a mediocre Wetherspoons within 5 minutes walk!

Levy would love it though - keeps costs down while negotiations for him continue!

Seems chelsea in for him too.

Would be strange to sign him and sterling as they are both best at LW
Especially as they are stacked with loads attacking midfielders as well, unless they are looking to shave a couple off.

I’m gonna be so annoyed if Richarlison goes to Chelsea and Arsenal get Jesus and Raphinha. We’ve got to end up with one of them ffs.

Interesting to read Chelsea may be in for Richarlison, it's not a bad deal for them but it doesn't smack of a club cruising round the top players with buckets of the rich Russian's cash does it? Maybe I'm wrong but I see Chelsea becoming a football club like many others again and I'll be interested to see how they cope with that.
I'm still not losing sleep on this one to be honest.

I suspect if we really want one of them, we'll get them.
Question is, do we want someone else and if so, Chelsea and Arsenal can have them.
That said my pick of the 3 would be Richarlison.

Getting very concerned about our hunt for a forward.

Scum looking likely to get Jesus and Raphinha. Chelsea likely to get Richarlison if they’re in for him and Sterling.

Are we going to be the odd ones out, left with the rubbish leftovers as we have so many times in the past?

For the first time in years I’m really chilled about everything at the club. I have no doubts whatsoever that whoever we get will be the right choice

How have you come to the conclusion that we’re in for all of them but look unlikely to get any of them?

Have I missed some itk or credible reports to that effect?

I'm not. If we still had Levy doing most of the transfers then maybe yeah, but with Paratici it could break tonight that we're basically agreed a deal for some brilliant player. The feeling of uncertainty comes mostly from Paratici's ability to keep the transfer deals secret like 10 times longer than Levy/Hitchen could.

It's 20th June FFS and we've already signed 3 players, 2 of whom are top quality ones. Bissouma came from nowhere and neither of those 2 have signed those players yet.
Drama queen.
