:banghead:Either they do it on purpose, which makes them incredibly ignorant and racist, or they do it by accident, which makes them incredibly ignorant and racist. Media in our country are pathetic at the moment.
I kind of agree, kind of disagree. I think it makes them more incompetent than racist if I'm honest.

Almost every 2 or 3 games if you listen to commentary on Sky or BT one of the comm's will get Sanchez, Aurier and Sissoko mixed up. They obviously don't do it on purpose but it always makes me chuckle and think "ha... racists."

Then again you could argue that a clear picture of Sanchez's face in an article is a bit different. Another thought, would we be having this same discussion if Foyth was incorrectly captioned as Davies?

It's incompetence and shit for a sports journalist, I mean how hard is it to make sure you get the correct picture of someone? When a commentator does it, it's accidental and you can easily get people mixed up right there and then.

The TV experts even manage to get Toby and Jan mixed up often enough.

Innit. Pure click bait.

It's the H&M thing all over again, these things aren't co-incidental.

The Star have been pretty sneaky, highlighting racism and purposely using the wrong picture knowing that everyone will get triggered and click and share the article.

Agree. It went to press. It’s been seen by multiple people and signed off. It’s not a personal slip up in real time

You are no longer the voice of reason dude... You're slipping

I cannot agree... Sometimes there is mistaken identity of white people too... Although I think with the media it is just incompetence and not racism.

I wouldn't immediately shout Rascism unless i could prove they don't do this with white players too. I would expect they do because as mentioned they are completely incompetent.

Good performance. Wish he scored and hope that we keep supporting him still. He'll probably have nightmares about that miss but I still value his contributions to the team. On to the next game.

First thing I’m going to say is that I don’t want to criticise him too much and he’s had a really good season but imo he’s getting a bit overrated. I agree with Windy (on Twitter) he’s been very good for his standard but he’s pretty average if you compare him to other midfielders. This season he’s maybe had one bad game and the rest he’s been 5-6/10

But next season he can’t be our starting midfielder, he’s a really good back up but we really need to splash the cash on a really good midfielder
