I wish he’d pushed on and scored when he broke throw towards the end.

Another great all action performance, with a lovely weighted assist straight into Harry’s run. Dare I say he’s currently offering more and playing better than peak Dembele.

That smug moment when you remember gamely having Moussa's back all last season.

Then the bloke becomes our best player. Fucking hell...

Dembele at his peak was glorious. He was rare in having elite level physical and technical attributes. Sissoko though is getting to that cult-hero level through sheer determination and a very under-rated football IQ. For someone who covers so much ground and is in all honesty quite clumsy with his technique he's almost never out of position. Also think he might be the best athlete I've seen play for Spurs. I'm struggling to think of a player we've had who's had his athleticism. His stamina is freakish.

It makes me sick that not once did we give them a run centrally together.

I can’t believe my own eyes. From I wouldn’t want him anywhere near the squad to being my first choice CM. Brilliant work by him and the coaches.

I'm really enjoying the Sissoko thing, other than one of the worst footballing displays I've ever seen in a game with Leverkusen, I've always thought he could he an asset in some way.
But Dembele at his best, IMO, was one of the best footballers full stop.
He kinda reminded me of a young Steven Segal in the way he could deal with a situation with intelligence and skill, requiring very little aggression. He just glided and changed direction so effortlessly it looked like he was existing in a different time stream. That all sounds soppy I know, but I enjoyed a full flow Dembele more than anyone. I just appreciate he wasn't getting younger and injuries were adding up and... Chinese contract.

What a transformation. If he can just improve on his composure infront of goal

I really want him to score a goal. That will be the icing on the cake and give the fans a chance to celebrate with him.
He needs some love for the effort and determination he has shown.

Utter utter beast. Love him to bits. Would have sold him in the summer for a packet of Frazzles. Truly awesome. If only Poch can do the same with VJ.......

I think the main difference is that Sissoko never stopped working his bollocks off! VJ seemed to hit cruise control as soon as it wasn't going for him...

I admit that after a few games at the start of the season I wanted him out of the club but now he is one of if not the best performer and has shown real character and a lot of ability.
It makes me realise that we as fans should not rush to judge a player.Well done Moussa you have been great.

Another small detail also is that Sissoko has experience of going to the euro 2016 final where the best french player on the night. that experience will be crucial going forward in the Champions League.
