If you have players like Ndombele, Lo Celso & Eriksen on the field if you need to resort to Llorente then things have gone really wrong.

Not really, you can play lots of technical players and play off a target man, it's just another method against a packed defence.

All those technical players just have the option of playing off them. Which should give them more space to use their skills.

A very bad source has said we are about to offer him a contract

Highly unlikely, seeing as we already offered him a reduced terms contact when his last one ran out. This was also before we brought in our targets. He didn't accept it.

That one may still be on the table, but again that was before Parrott shone in pre season.

He offers us something that Kane doesnt! Yes kane is very good at holding the ball up but just look at him against Ajax away De Ligt could not handle him and was crucial to a few goals towards of the end of the season, but yes we will look very stupid going back in for him now as he could of made a difference against Newcastle

It basically worked in one very big occasion which is clouding everyone’s minds to the times where it didn’t work well over a dozen times.

It basically worked on one very big occasion when we changed our gameplan and played to Llorente's strengths. It didn't work well over a dozen times because we gave him nothing he could work with.

Llorente had no pre season at all. Plus he probably rather wants big money, would explain why he has not found anything so far.
We would be so desperate to even consider this, but probably we are...

Spot on would frustrate me so much you send him on and then do not change the way we had been playing which was not working at the time! get the ball into him at the back post and let him cause havoc in the box

Funny that Poch talks about having no plan B, yet we passed on resigning Llorente or getting a replacement for him. Another sign of why he might have the hump?

Good luck Fernando, scored a couple of huge goals for us.

Find it hard to believe we're unable to find any kind of backup for Kane, if we've even been looking. Would love to see some minutes for Parrott now.

Tbf, we seem to be quite shit at scouting strikers.
