Dear Latvian government, please grant DeAndre, the son of a Latvian citizen, a Latvian passport. Sincerely, Tottenham Hotspur, United States of America and both sets of fans everywhere.
"Right now, I'm working on getting my Latvian passport. So, we're still waiting on what the deal with that is. Depending on that, I think it'll be January or next June." Thats his exact quote(without the "um's").
My theory is the club would like him to come in January and he wants to come then also. But it depends on the passport. If he gets it, he'll come in January. If not, he'll come in the summer.

He'll be playing in the first of two title deciding games tonight, if anyone will be up and interested
MLS has a playoffs so its not exactly a title. I know they are going for another piece of silverwear known as the "supporters shield" however. I think its what they give the team with the most points in the regular season, but I am not positive if that is all it entails.

It is silverware/ a trophy and it's meant for the team with the most points over the course of the season, a title in any other league. The playoffs are pretty much a cup competition. They both are of great significance.
Anyway, the game is between the second placed team, l.a. So it's as much as a title decider that you could possibly hope for. Should be good will be looking our for Yedlin, Keane and Duece

Miscommunication between Yedlin amd Evans lead to a galaxy goal right before half. Was Evans fault though. Goes right behind Yedlin and extremely weakly heads away a cross right to Husidic to strike it goalwards.

Beautiful cross by Yedlin on Dempsey's goal. Took a little deflection on Martins for Dempsey to strike it in. Either an assist or pass to assist to make it 2-1. Gave Seattle momentum and confidence as they just equalized a few minutes later

The playoffs are a much, much, much bigger deal than the Supporters Shield in MLS. This is American sports, where the postseason playoffs take much bigger precedence and have more importance than the regular season.
MLS Playoffs >>> Supporters Shield > US Open Cup

Watched the second half...he looked far more comfortable in attack than at the back from what I saw, but he could well have his eye on January and not wanna get injured etc.
He's electric going forward though. Walker behind either him or fredericks would be insane pace along that flank.

Well chadli isn't a slouch tbf, he doesn't look fast but he can peg it when he wants. Not sure about Rose's speed, it's not something I find myself thinking about which is odd. You just expect him to be fast, but is he??

Yedlin, Walker, Fredericks...would rose come next in the speed stakes? Probably would I expect.
Would love to see a race between the first 3.
If Spurs TV doesnt have Yedlin and Walker race when there both fit and training, it would be a huge missed opportunity. In other words, dont expect it to happen.
