4 times at least tonight where he absolutely hammered the ball to whoever he could just to get rid of it. Put us in danger of conceding a second by playing a 10 yard pass at the pace of a 50 yard pass.

Had some decent moments but again had to use his pace to get him out of trouble.

Only improved slightly when Sissoko came on. Just makes me so anxious when he goes in for a tackle or has the ball around our own box.

Still an absolute liability in defense with Trippier & Lloris, which I got spammed for saying about 10 pages ago.
Not happy with him if Toby leaves for next season.

Defensively he can be excellent, but he’s very ordinary on the ball. Lacks composure at times too.

I hate how Sanchez seems to be the scapegoat when his being let down by others around him. People should remember he's not the finished product. He had some awkward moments first half some fans were getting on his back for going back to Lloris only because he wasnt given passing options. Once we changed the system he was much better.

Personally I'm very happy with him.

I completely agree, he is doing OK considering he doesn't get much match time.

I'm sure some people look at the score board and mark the players accordingly.

Geez, even de Light made a few errors yet he is going to Barca.

He won't be able to fill in for Toby if he goes in the summer. No chance

3rd best defence in league last season when funny enough, he replaced Toby

But hey what are facts anyway?

He's 22.

And those of you complaining about his distribution should observe the sheer lack of movement in front of the defence. It's even making Toby's passing look bang average right now.

Midfield is the major issue.

Spot on rgd the liabilty

The problem is we wasted 40m on him and the midget will want his money back

Thus can see him staying here for some time

Not good at all

Ye and we went from having the best defence in the league by some distance to the 3rd best

So let me get this straight...you're saying that we went from conceding 26 to 36 goals in the space of a year and the reason we conceded those extra 10 goals is because we played Sanchez for the majority of the season over Toby?

No. I'm saying it's part of the reason

Yep, NOW you're saying it's part of the reason, you weren't before...you don't have any evidence of that by the way especially as there's a load of mitigating circumstances like losing Walker, playing Trippier, moving to Wembley, Wanyama injury etc...

How many goals can you directly attribute to Sanchez in that season or say that a goal is definately his fault for example?

No idea. Not arsed going into each individual game. All I know he's not near as solid as Toby, nowhere near as good on the ball, and if you think him playing didn't contribute in some way to conceding more goals I think you're wrong.

Him playing also would have contributed to others having to pick up slack that Toby normally would have.

Look, I don't rate Sanchez. He makes me nervous when he plays. He has a mistake in him every game and last night highlighted how poor his passing is. Ajax were happy to let Toby have the ball but once Sanchez got it they targeted him. It was plain to see.

I think Foyth is better
