Maybe we need to try Trippier at LB with Davies on the left side of the back three

We seriously need a new scanner. Both Toby and Danny both had clear scans FFS........ or so they tell us

In respect to Davies supposedly not being able to play at LWB, Alonso isn't exactly the fastest is he?
It's a really good point. They are actually very similar players. We certainly should try the system that works for us, even if Davies is no Rose

Seems to be for all other clubs. Should certainly know he diffrence between 2 weeks and 2 months

Some though take longer to deal than others and some quicker.

The club overestimated Vertonghen and Kane's injuries for example.

I guess we've just had a few where poch says a week or two, and it takes months!

I'd like to see Verts given a go in Rose's position in our 3-4-2-1. Play Wimmer or Davies as a LCB. Verts fast, good on the ball, etc. He was demon at left back away at old Trafford a couple of years ago.

Verts fast? He's not much quicker than Michael Dawson.

He's fast with the ball at his feet, a powerful runner. When he ghosts into midfield he is hard to catch. At OT a few years ago he caused them massive problems first half.

Also ask any Arsenal fan about injuries and they'd probably give you more things to moan about, for example Santi Cazorla was meant to be back at least twice this season and now he's been ruled out until next.

This amazes me that anybody could ever have watched both players and come to this conclusion. He is so much faster than Dawson ever was, Dawson's slowness just wasn't an issue for the most part because he was next to Ledley - who was rapid. For a CB, Vertonghen is one of the fastest about. He is deceptively quick.

He has almost as many injuries as Wilshere....

Putting our Spurs bias to one side, how tempted do you think Rose would be to go to City and double his money??

Honestly? Probably quite tempted. They will more than likely win serious silverware in the next few years, while our chances are not so great, imo. Like Utd, they will continue to buy the best of the best each summer, while we'll continue to feed off the scraps from the top table.

He's also a northern lad, so he'd be living closer to his family.

Huge worry. His excellent relationship with Poch could be key for at least another season. He is 27 in 2 months. Next 3 years will be his best and Pep knows it
