I can't imagine anyone wanting to leave this Spurs side yet.

It's getting to crunch time though, we might get away with failing to win something this season but I feel we'd have to then win something next season..

It would be huge to win the FA cup this year.

IF City go on to win the FA cup and we choke in the semi finals again, not unrealistic that, bigger/richer clubs will sniff around our players. It is the law of the jungle!

Losing one match does not equal choking, bottling or whatever else you want to call it.

50M for Rose, Shaw at say 30M is the kind of business Danny likes, so it'll will be down to Poch, hopefully, to decide whether we should do it.

If poch doesn't wanna sell then Daniel wouldn't dare do anything to piss him off.

And we don't sell to premier league rivals now no matter what (Modric, bale) and it's Daniel Levy.

As Mourinho said (poking his nose where it shouldn't go) the other week, it's impossible to get players out of Tottenham now.

Levy would fleece them, 100m

No, but failing to win games that really matter equals exactly what? No doubt many, including yourself, will make 101 excuses for our various failures, but no getting away from fact when it really matters this team has failed to deliver so far and that needs to change if we are to start winning titles/cup.
If this team continues to lose, choke, bottle or whatever you choose to call it decisive games then players will naturally start questioning the club/team mates and start looking elsewhere if bigger/richer clubs come calling.

Don't kid yourself thinking Rose, or any of our imports, love the club like we all do. It was not that long ago pretty much all this forum wanted him gone and were rejoicing when Davies was signed. Danny said as much in a recent interview where he mentioned how the fans never rated him. This team, our club, needs to start winning trophies if it wants to keep hold of it's players and progress.

We all know, whatever club it is, if he player is desperate to go, he goes. Only question to ask is will Rose pick city of staying? I have no interest in Luke shaw at all

I'm not kidding myself thinking anything. I'm also not making excuses. What I am doing is saying losing one game of football to one of the best teams in the country does not mean we've bottled or choked anything. The fans thinking like that are the ones who throw their toys out and steam across the forum declaring everything to be shit every time we lose. It seems we have a section of fans since we've become decent that have a sense of entitlement and cannot handle losing.

With the insane amount of money that can be awarded to the top players, I'm not sure if a little silver medal appears near the top of a modern players wish list. Let's hope Rose's agent doesn't turn his head too far...if there's any truth in this rumour. I'd hate to see him go...

I do agree though that we need to win some silverware to progress..

Some of the conspiracy stories about the press in here are embarrassing. There is no agenda to rock the boat at Spurs, grow up ffs. Just because it's a story we don't like, doesn't mean the premier league illuminati of John Cross and Jose Mourinho are on our case.

There's been constant stories linking Rose with City. To me that points towards something genuine. We've seen this all before when our players are linked away. There is clearly interest from City, that doesn't mean we are going to sell him though.

Judging by his recent comments about Poch, I think it's safe to say he will be here as long as Poch is.
