Three b**tard lungs
is he too good to play at LB any more ?
our lines are open
I am not sure it would matter right now. I think Rose has a lot of loyalty to Spurs, and specifically to Pochettino. They seem to have a very close relationship. Spurs can't ignore him - wages-wise, but I don't see him agitating to go to a competitor. This lad is absolutely top class. I am simply amazed no other top club has bid silly money for him and Waljer isnt far behind him on the other side. But Rose has everything, massive engine, pace, tenacity, grit, guile, skill, football brain and courage and desire. I live this guy and hope he stays the rest of his career with us!!
He well and truly proved me wrong
Give walker his due he has been getting better at thisIt's incredible the player he's turned into. Used to frustrate the hell out of me but now he's almost the complete left back. Great touch, can cross, amazing engine and pops up with the odd goal. If Walker could match his touch and ability to cross the ball without always having to trap it and look up he'd be even better.
Wanted to take an opportunity to up this lad, and find it no surprise that his thread has praise being admonished as recently as today. Good on ya, SC.
This guy won a soft spot in my heart back when he was the most hated man on the squad, with fans on forums constantly calling for him to be replaced and fans in the stadium blatantly admonishing his every mistake. It wasn't compassion or feeling sorry for him, and I won't even begin to try to insinuate that I had any idea as to what the player would eventually become - but rather that despite all that shit, Rose still utterly busted his fuckin balls inside out every week for the shirt. Even when the whole team looked down n out, regardless of which manager it was, Rose was still going. Hard.
My heart sunk when I saw the rumors a couple summers back of City willing to pay big money for Rose. They were desperate for homegrown contributors, so I figured they'd get what they wanted with the Sheikh's blessing. I cannot even begin to express how glad I am that my favorite player is still Spurs. Long may his career be in Lillywhite. Big ups, Danny, your refusal of any obstacles whatsoever is a proper inspiration to us all.
