He came inside a fair bit today even in the first half, I'm assuming tactical but he showed good quality when driving inside particularly second half.

is he too good to play at LB any more ?

our lines are open

No. He could obviously do better at LW than a lot of LWs but his best position is LB / LWB

He is no Gareth Bale but he is doing his best to look like Roberto Carlos (minus the banana free kicks)

Might just be my favourite player at the moment. Even when it's not working for him his commitment, drive, determination and effort are absolutely top class.

This lad is absolutely top class. I am simply amazed no other top club has bid silly money for him and Waljer isnt far behind him on the other side. But Rose has everything, massive engine, pace, tenacity, grit, guile, skill, football brain and courage and desire. I live this guy and hope he stays the rest of his career with us!!

He well and truly proved me wrong

I'd have to do research to find out if there's a better and more effective LB in the world than him right now. Shows the level he is at.

I am not sure it would matter right now. I think Rose has a lot of loyalty to Spurs, and specifically to Pochettino. They seem to have a very close relationship. Spurs can't ignore him - wages-wise, but I don't see him agitating to go to a competitor.

Still makes odd decisions in the final third at times. He's worked proper hard and learned well since poch has been here and talk of him being the best LB in the league is fully justified.

I've given him heavy - though legitimate - criticism in the past, but he's used the threat of Davies to raise his game two-fold.

Huge amount of respect and admiration for him.

Any player that turns me from vitriol to having to kiss their ring is super fine by me as long as it benefits the team.

so confident in possession, never looks flustered when a defender is approaching, knows his own game inside out and his ball carrying is probably our best IMO.

It's incredible the player he's turned into. Used to frustrate the hell out of me but now he's almost the complete left back. Great touch, can cross, amazing engine and pops up with the odd goal. If Walker could match his touch and ability to cross the ball without always having to trap it and look up he'd be even better.
Give walker his due he has been getting better at this

Walker has 4 or 5 assists this season. That's a decent return for a full back imo. Think rose has a similar number plus a couple of goals. (In all comps)

Wanted to take an opportunity to up this lad, and find it no surprise that his thread has praise being admonished as recently as today. Good on ya, SC.

This guy won a soft spot in my heart back when he was the most hated man on the squad, with fans on forums constantly calling for him to be replaced and fans in the stadium blatantly admonishing his every mistake. It wasn't compassion or feeling sorry for him, and I won't even begin to try to insinuate that I had any idea as to what the player would eventually become - but rather that despite all that shit, Rose still utterly busted his fuckin balls inside out every week for the shirt. Even when the whole team looked down n out, regardless of which manager it was, Rose was still going. Hard.

My heart sunk when I saw the rumors a couple summers back of City willing to pay big money for Rose. They were desperate for homegrown contributors, so I figured they'd get what they wanted with the Sheikh's blessing. I cannot even begin to express how glad I am that my favorite player is still Spurs. Long may his career be in Lillywhite. Big ups, Danny, your refusal of any obstacles impeding you whatsoever is a proper inspiration to us all.

Don't think he'd be interested in going back up north. Think he said a while back he's a southerner now and hardly ever goes back to the north.
