I feel confident that it will be a good loan with Danny Cowley being Manager there.

Sometimes you just need a bit of luck to get yourself going. We have had strikers that had zero luck when they needed it.

I have been watching all of Preston North End’s games so far this season to keep an eye on Parrott but it is too painful.

I think it’s time I switch to watching Portsmouth and Scarlett. I have had a soft spot for them since we were linked to Lassana Diara all those years ago.

Pompey supporters have really taken Dane to.tbeir heart. They are a great set of supporters who travel in numbers and support them through thick.and thin. I remember seeing Pompey at Southend in meaningless midweek game years ago. They had a couple of thousand supporters there that night.

Pompey supporters referring to Dane as the Boy Wonder already. My hope is Dane really excels down there and helps fire Pompey into.the Championship. Then another season long loan with Pompey in the Championship and he'll be ready for the Premiership.

It's similar to.when West Ham loaned Jermain Defoe to Bournemouth all those years ago.
