Thinks he needs to be dropped. Awful the last few games, giving the ball away way too easy
But who would you play in his place that can pass as well as he can (when on form of course). We don't have anyone. The whole side has been off their game for the past weeks. Eriksen on form can change a game with a pinpoint pass. When he plays well the side play well.

He's playing his way out of a Madrid/Barca move at the moment. I think he's a level below that anyway at Bayern, Juventus or Dortmund etc level, in which case he may as well stay where he is IF he can sort his attitude out and sign a new deal.

And that is part of the problem, he knows no matter how shit he is he'll be in the side next week.

What attitude? He had never been anything but professional.

I think the reason Eriksen doesn’t look as good or as consistent this season is we have lost Dembele. He would be the one who picked the back of the back 4 and drove forward and would find Eriksen in dangerous positions. Now we have Winks and Sissoko, who have both had decent seasons, but are no Dembele replacements.
Dembele doesn’t play for Denmark though where he does perform.

I don’t think his head is here anymore. Comes up with odd flashes of class but in recent months he’s not performed at all.

At the past he was always the player who made the most telling passes, and covered the most ground - he has barely got out of the centre circle recently, his passing and dead ball play is woeful at the moment, but worse than that is his completely lacklustre attempts (if you can call them that) at tackling, blocking or headers. He looks like he doesn't want to get injured before his upcoming transfer.

For me he's only 75% the complete player, he has deficiencies that can ruin his day ie; motivation and poor defensive record.

I don't think RM will want to pay anything like what Levy will demand on his current form which unfortunately leads to a Bosman where they'll happily take a punt.

The support of erricsen form or lack of form is obsnene.
Someone on here suggested that he is playing bad because we are not good enough as a team for him and he will be great at Real Madrid.
Well I can say is that the players that have moved on from us such as Carrick ; Sherringham ; Berbatov ; Bale etc played outstandingly well for us and moving to other clubs they just continued their great play.
Erricsen will not suddenly become a great performer week in week out with Real if he can't produce the goods with us.
Even with our indifferent form at the moment if we played Real over two legs I would put it 50/50.
A move to Real would not transform his form what would transform his play would be do the business for us then the criticism would fade away . I find it insulting even given that we are not playing well that we as a club are below Ericsen and that is why he is not performing.; if he were to play to his ability our position regarding Qualification for the champions league would not be so vulnerable.

Media suggesting an Eriksen / Bale switch, can't see it myself, because like others I don't think he's playing well enough to be considered by RM.
