First line is true but Danjuma is genuinely good. That's why its annoying to see him treated like 'just a body' when he'd genuinely offer more than Son, Richarlison, Lucas and even Kulu are atm.
I'm sure he is a good player.

And I agree. But he won't get many minutes and I'll be amazed if he's here come September.

He will prove to be a poor signing IMO.

And like I said he won't have seen much of him at all in training, so that's going to play a part in the decision. I do like him as a player but like Lenglet I feel his time here will be fleeting
No idea whether Conte wanted him, sanctioned it or what. But Danjuma is a good footballer and proven at good levels, the Coaching staff should have seen enough of Moura to know he’s not good enough and has less of a future at Spurs than Danjuma and Son is for whatever reason a shadow of the player He was only late last year.

Said at the time that I didnt get this transfer for the reasons already given.

And I knew that he wouldn't be getting any starts over Son or Richarlison.

What I didn't really bank on was Lucas returning. Which now means Conte won't even shuffle Richy across to the right and then use Danjuma even if he drops Son. Which isn't gonna happen.

Totally pointless signing.

I'd say that a coach thinking about the long term may give him more minutes with the view to making it permanent.

But I highly doubt that is even coming in to his thinking even if he stays.

But if they are both available on good deals, I suppose we would happily make both permanent?

He’s not good and we made the absolute correct decision getting a better player than him
You may be right that he’s a better player (haven’t really seen enough on both players to form an opinion) but he also isn’t a RWF which is what we were looking for, this alone makes the decision questionable at the very least.

He’s more than capable of playing that role, he did it against us for Bournemouth

Too many soft players not up for a battle and we’ve all seen this movie before. Conte and Co picked a team that was fundamentally stupid and the outcome was predictable with the side sent out. Not excusing the players as guys like PEH and Perisic need to stand up in these games but went missing. Son, Richarlison and Moura just looks like a line up from a whiteboard divorced from the reality of where these players are at and their ability to play the Conte system. Thinking that Davies and Sanchez as outside CBs can feed the ball forward demonstrates an absence of observation of these two skill sets, they can’t pass! good luck linking any play with that line up and made harder with senior pros playing tamely.

Being horrendously mismanaged and ignored for a player we feel isn’t good enough to have a contract for next year.

The latest victim to the ever confusing desire for our club and manager to spite eachother through signings.

I absolutely love Conte complaining or being annoyed at his bench options and then never fucking using them.

TBF he used most of them mid week and we know how that turned out.

I don't think Richy or Son have offered anything to suggest they warrant the starting spot over Danjuma, whether we've seen him play or not he can't possibly offer less right now.

Sadly, this was seemingly predicted by the ITK at the time, another opportunistic punt from chrome dome. He joins a long and illustrious line of such players.

He may be a decent player but firstly he's not the right sided attacker we needed and secondly it seems the management team aren't fussed by him at all.

He should change his shirt name to Vinicius.

Cause he'll be warming that bench for the entire season. At this rate, no decent striker would come to Spurs.

You don't know that, but I do take your point. I guess half the issue is Conte hasn't seen much of him because he's spent most of his time away from training since Danjuma came in.

Thought he was getting live feeds to the sessions?

Infuriating, youd think Levy would have learnt by now.

The amount of money wasted on players that are not remotely a coach's choice whilst we refuse to pay an extra 10m for their actual choice is infuriating.

I do think sometimes Levy does this as its a buzz for him to get a small cheap 'win'
