You can look at this in two ways and both are correct.

1. The club shouldn’t sign players a manager doesn’t want or ask for.

2. A manager should be flexible and willing to compromise in certain situations and when they are given players should use them, not refuse to play them because they are stubborn.

Danjuma came on against Preston, was really lively and scored a goal.

What a great start and a way to inject some freshness in the team. Yet Conte has destroyed that momentum.

Every time Danjuma comes on he looks at least as good as the person he replaced. You have to wonder if Danjuma had come on and scored if Conte would have been heartbroken.

He just can’t risk that.

It is this more than anything along with his treatment of Bryan that makes me think Conte is not the man he thinks he is.

He’s a 'born winner'who is not interested in winning, only scoring stupid points against people.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t blame anyone but the club for Juma’s predicament. Why give the manager a player he didn’t ask for when there was a player available that the manager did want (Zaniolo)?

ENIC out. Levy out. It will never change if it’s just Conte out.

Poor guy but I doubt he gets a start this season now. Unless there is an injury he probably won’t get more than 30/40 odd mins total.

Feel really sorry for him. Nothing against Lucas but it really frustrates me to see him come on instead of Danjuma.

He'd rather give game time to lucas who is leaving in 3 months and has been injured all season. I mean wtf is he doing except being spiteful?

If he doesn’t come on when we are 3-0 up at home after an hour there is not going to be many chances left for him outside an injury crisis.

Yep, I was sure he'd come on. Bloke must be regretting the move to us. He needs several forwards injuries before he has the slightest chance to play. Looks very harsh by Conte.

Nice to see him getting some minutes... 👀

He looks sharp in those clips......it is frustrating because he clearly has a hunger. I think he could've really freshened up some of our performances in the last few weeks coming on as a sub.

I have to say, I never understand the whole buyig players the manager does'nt want thing. We've been doing it for over a decade now and it just seems so short sighted and counterintuitive to me. I mean was Conte not asked did he want Danjuma? Presumably if he says no we don't do the deal?

Club signings are usually young guys who you expect to become decent in the future, possibly long after the incumbent manager has gone, so I see the rationale in bringing in guys like Spence. But a club signing on a 6 month loan? If, as it appears, Conte didn't want him then who on earth is responsible for bringing him here? Paratici? It's fucking farcical.

I can't believe they brought him in if conte flat out saud he doesn't want him. That's very unlikely.

Conte is just being stubborn, and it's detrimental to the club. So in conclusion he should go if that's how he wants to behave.

Then he spouts all the 'selfish this' and 'we we we' crap in interviews , complete hypocrisy
