Sadly, this was seemingly predicted by the ITK at the time, another opportunistic punt from chrome dome. He joins a long and illustrious line of such players.

He may be a decent player but firstly he's not the right sided attacker we needed and secondly it seems the management team aren't fussed by him at all.
Let’s not pretend our left side attack has been anything but pretty poor. The message continuing to play Son regardless of his performances is a poor message to the squad. Put in a half arse effort at Sheffield but don’t worry you’re starting on Saturday.

As a back up striker capable of stepping up I’d think you would be hard pressed to find anyone better than Danjuma. The three striker starters at Sheffield should never have played in this game, where is the message that half arsed efforts won’t be tolerated, but Son starts and others get a sub run.

Poor bloke. Comes on, scores. Never seen again and someone who has spent the year injured and is about to be released is now our preferred wing sub.

Infuriating, youd think Levy would have learnt by now.

The amount of money wasted on players that are not remotely a coach's choice whilst we refuse to pay an extra 10m for their actual choice is infuriating.

I do think sometimes Levy does this as its a buzz for him to get a small cheap 'win'
Or more like his way of 'pushing' and paving the way to sacking of the managers?

But he did it with Poch too? Surely he wasnt trying to get him out the door?

I wouldn't be surprised if he did that with Conte this January though.

Who though? Zaniolo? Who only Bournemouth and Turkish clubs wanted.

Another player that we likely would have in the shop window in 18 months. Conte hasn't been able to get a tune out of any player we've signed under him outside of Bentancur & Deki.

Richarlison, Spence, Perisic, Bissouma... hardly any contribution. I wouldn't sign a hugely risky player for him either.

If that's the case then you simply don't stick with that coach

He would have been a good fit for this match. Needed some creativity, deft touches to create chances. Instead, we got Son playing with his back to goal, trying to hold the ball up, which always ends well. I mean, I get sticking with your guys, but that match was calling out for some creativity, and all we had to offer it was an out of form Kulusevski.

Out of form or bored with it all?

How badly does Son need to play before this guy gets a chance, sadly he was a passenger again for the umpteenth time this season.

Comes on, shows promise, scores a goal even!

Never to be seen again...

Feel sorry for the lad.

My concern is that he's only here till the end of the season, so we could piss a decent player up the wall due to AC's unwillingness to select "his players".

He came to us super confident and if used properly could well have freshened up that left side.

Instead he’s been handled very poorly by Conte, in the same way Spence and Bissouma also were.

Conte's comments surmise that Danjuma was another 'club signing.' He'll most likely get very few minutes from now until the end of the season.

God I can’t stand the way Conte talks about players being ‘club signings’ way to make them feel welcome and determined to improve.

Poor lad seemed well excited to come here and not been given a chance despite the ones playing ahead being awful.
