Although Son is a worthy winner, I am very disappointed that Sissoko did not win our player of the season.

[EDIT: I have now included a poll but I was limited to how many names I could put]

It's a members' vote.

Educated fans who understand football is more than about scoring goals will have voted for Sissoko.

Not enough of them around.

Sissoko was a more consistent performer and should of won it.

This has turned into a popularity contest if you ask me.

Son has scored some massive goals for us, but Sissoko has been 8 out ten most weeks.

Should of won it. That's really disappointing. He deserved that accolade, fucking hell.

Instead a whole load voting for their favourite player.

As long as the vote is open to overseas members Sonny will win it. Perhaps there should be a separate award voted on by overseas members?

Moose should have won it by a country mile. He has been immense this season.

I voted Sissoko, was the most consistent player of the season for me and I'd say arguably the single most missed player when injured.

I went with Son for the official vote. Goals win games and he stepped up with Harry out injured. Sissoko has been good too but its all onions.

I'm very educated and fully appreciate what sissoko does but I still voting for son. If he didnt step up when kane was out we would be fucked

I know Sissoko has been more consistent but I feel some of our feelings are to do with the shock of his transformation

Obviously he would win most improved player but son scored some massive goals for us when we needed them the most

I’m waiting until the 1st of June before I vote. Whoever scores our winner, gets it. Have a funny feeling it might be Toby to redeem himself after the og in the league.

Sissoko played above his skillset and eriksen played below it. I would still consider eriksen at worst to be the same. He just gets marked down because he played below his levels

Voted for sissoko myself on the official. He was consistently good all season which shouldn’t be ignored.

Son has clearly been the difference maker for us this season. His goals have been crucial to us getting anywhere. Sissoko is loved as an underdog who has come from being useless to being a decent player in his limited but important role. Poch has done a great job in converting him to the role and with no Dembele, Dier or Wanyama his has risen to the challenge well. But it is just sentiment to consider him the player of the season

Those are my onions anyway

Both Son and Sissoko are worthy winners with contributions that deserved our praise.

I have gone Sissoko simply because he was the energy in midfield and defence that nobody else seemed to provide, other than Rose in the last few months, and Winks when actually fit. But Sissoko has been on it all season.

Son for me literally neck and neck with Sissoko. The lad must be shattered physically and emotionally after the last two years he had but he stepped up when Kane was out and got us most of the goals.

The one mistake this season was rushing Kane back and knocking Son out of full stride. I think the end of season form is just exhaustion and a lack of energy from the rest of the team as shown in our form last 12 League games. If we didn't rush Kane back then I think we would have pushed Liverpool and city harder and been well clear of third cos Son was on fire and would have easily have been my player of the year.

Love Sonny but Sissoko’s been our most important player this season. Only need to look at Ajax first leg for that
