For me it would of been Rose before his injury. I would probably give it to Erikssen

Alli, Kane and Eriksen (answer son) get most the plaudits but I think our success this year has been built on the rocks that have been:

Wanyama - who I did not expect to be anywhere near as brilliant as he has been, nor did I expect him to displace Dier in the team.

Jan - who has stepped up many many levels this year. His performance on Sunday epitomised the guy, faultless.

I will vote for Jan, as a nod to the immense core we have built.

Alli for me with Eriksen a close second. Both stepped up big time when we lost Kane to injury. In truth this season we could make a case for almost every player in the starting lineup. The club could scrap the player of the season and give them a team award of some kind.

The standard is very, very high so we need to be ultra critical to eliminate some candidates.

If you look at individual players, the likes of Eriksen, Alli, Kane and Son have all had dips of form.

Kane didn't score for a little while at the start
Eriksen and Alli have been excellent in the second half of the season but first half, their assist/goals numbers were actually quite poor.
Son has been vital when Kane was out but has had frustrating times, too.
Rose, Kane, Toby have had long-ish spells out.
Lloris has made very steady but there are loads of games where he doesn't need to make a noteable save because of the quality in front of him. Especially at home.

Again, I am being very harsh as the standard is very high.

IMO the three most consistent performers this season have been Wanyama, Vertonghen and Walker.

I'd give it to Vertonghen because he's had a lot of change in his position both tactically and in personnel. Rose and Toby either side of him have been injuredHe was out for a few weeks but came back sooner than expected and while he was away, we missed him a lot as Toby didn't seem comfortable and Davies looked exposed. He's not only been personally excellent but has displayed fantastic leadership skills.

Scrap it all, just give it to Poch for creating such a high standard at the club!!

Player of the last 2 thirds of the season has to be Eriksen but for consistency over the whole season I go for Wanyama.

As others have said, Kane could still win the Golden Boot and not be the winner of our poll!

Across the whole season Victor & Jan. As the season has worn on Dele, Eriksen & Son.

Think you could give it to any of Jan, Eriksen, Dele or Wanyama and it be justified. Before his injury Rose was on his way to being our poty too. Kane could win golden boot yet injured twice. Son has been the by a distance best 'not guaranteed starter' in league and had a brilliant season. Toby, Dembele and Walker aren't even close but have all had very good solid seasons overall.

We've had a sensational league season.

How are people forgetting Dele Alli? :D I guess it's probably because he's already won an award

Vertonghen for me. The drop off to Dier when Toby was out wasnt near as big as the drop off was from Dier/Wimmer to Jan when he went out. Not even close. And boy that was a scary time. Absolutely crucial to our defense.

Has to be Eriksen. We simply wouldn't be where we are without him and whilst we could happily say similar about Alli, Wanyama, Vertonghen, Kane etc, I feel like Eriksen has become the heart beat of this team.

Even if you ignore the fact that he has now created more than 100 chances this season (more than any other player in the league) scored crucial, brilliant goals and is up there for most assists, he is clearly the man that makes us tick with his metronomic passing. He runs further than anyone else each game, which makes up for the odd occasion that he's soft in 50-50 challenges, and he's doing all of this still at only 25.

For a lot of his time at Spurs he has divided opinion. He's been consistently inconsistent in the past and it's therefore all the more important that he gets the recognition he deserves for becoming so crucially important to us now.

Vertonghen
Eriksen
Dele
Wanyama
Kane
Son
Rose
Alderweireld
Dembele
Walker
Lloris
Dier

I'd order it like that in terms of regular first teamers. They've all had good to sensational seasons though.

Most of them have been excellent this season to be fair. But id give it to Eriksen. Assists, goals, insane workrate, never injured etc etc.

Wanyama's level hasn't dropped at all throughout the season. Most consistent and he's probably one of those whose played the most minutes too.

Could have pick many.

But for me Wanyama has been immense.

He is far more technically gifted than I ever gave him credit for.

I voted for Vertonghen. My reasoning for this is when Toby got injured our defense stood strong and we didn't miss Toby as much as we should have. Such a stylish centre half he is. The game at Anfield which he missed was won by constantly being attacked down our left hand side. They produce some footballers at Ajax, they really do. Yes I could have gone for Big Vic or Christy Eric maybe even Sonny who has been brilliant. But I think Jan deserves the recognition. Absolute class footballer not just defender
