I thought that Napoli had an obligation to buy Ndombele if they won the league/got CL, but that may have just been some bs I've read or from my own imagination.

Anyways, keep Gil, Spence, Udogie. Maybe give a chance to Reggie, and if our (some day) new manager fancies Lo Celso, then him too. Others? Get rid.

A quick Google search suggests not. A few other articles suggest they’re not going to buy him.

Whilst Lo Celso might be a decent player, his injury record is shocking, we need to cash in if we can. Reguilon was getting worst each season for us and he has had an awful year with injuries, so I suspect he has declined further and with 2 years left on his contract, we should cash in if we can. I'm not convinced with Spence and Bryan, but would give them a pre-season, as they are young, to see if anything has clicked.

Definitely Keep
Udogie

Give Pre-Season Before Deciding
Spence
Bryan

Definitely Sell

Keep & use
Reguilón
Udogie
Lo celso

keep & loan
Spence

Sell
Ndombele
Winks
Roden
Gill
The first 3 can add something to the squad and potentially be first team players dependent on the manager. Definitely quality in there

I think this is the answer.

Udogie will go straight in to the squad. I could definitely see Bryan filling a hole if we manage to shift a few of the deadwood, and personally I don't see him as a downgrade on Lucas so for me he'd be in. However with Spence there's no guarantee our new manager would need 1 RWB in the squad, let alone two. Porro would definitely be ahead, and I wouldn't want to see Spence just be sat around on the bench waiting for January to play against a couple of League 1 teams in the FA Cup.

My final verdict would be Udogie and Gil in, Spence out on loan and sell the rest (apart from Ndombele who clearly wont find a club, just pay him off...).

I’d be looking for the following:
Winks / Rodon
Hopefully get a move to one of the promoted clubs /Bournemouth/forest

Ndombele - just anywhere

Gil/Reguilon - sell back to Spain, it’s not worked out.
Lo celso- possibly keep depending on manager
Spence - hard to know what’s best. Until we know who is in charge and how they plan to use full backs /wing backs it’s impossible to say. PL loan to forest wouldn’t be impossible to imagine

Udogie- needs a season at spurs

What are people doing with Scarlett, Devine, White and Parrott? I haven’t seen much of any of them at their loan clubs, I know Dane has scored a few. Are we thinking send them all back out again for another year? Has anyone been good enough that they could play a part in our squad next season?

Not going to include players who haven't played for us yet. As for the old lot:

Winks - No, not good enough.

Ndombele - No, no signs whatsoever he will ever be up to it.

Lo Celso - Yes, genuinely never understood what he was supposed to have done wrong, thought he performed well in general. We don't have a comparable player.

Gil - Yes, again, don't understand why he went out. Started performing well under Conte then disappeared for no good reason.

Rodon - Yes, I'm vastly in the minority here but I'd be happy to have Joe as backup. Never seen him perform poorly for us. For his career though, he needs a PL move.

Reguilon - Not sure, seems pointless him being here with Udogie coming in but with Perisic likely leaving, we might need the cover.

I would certainly keep Spence and Gil neither have had a chance to show what they can do playing regularly with us. Gil of course will be ready for it having been the only one at Tottenham to have won anything with his winners medal for the EL.

Out
Spence: no one outside championship will take a punt on him
Rodon: see above
Regullion: not a bad player, injury prone tho.

Winks: keep if we play a flat or single pivot 3 man midfield as 5th choice, no where near as bad as people say.

Destiny u: only seen a couple of games but looked decent, replace perisic in squad or allow perisic to play 10.

Lo celso: if we play a cam he could be 2nd or 3rd choice but has flexibility to play in a 3 in midfield. Would sell for decent ish offer

Ndombele: if no takers then could be used similarly to how napoli have used him, mainly of bench in cam or in a 3

Parrott and devine: loan maybe keep 1 as 4th choice if we play 2 up top.

All dependant on there attitude and being decent around the group

I just don't see those who want Ndombele to stay as having anything other than shit for brains!

I genuinely don't care if the new manager comes in and says "I want Ndombele to stay" if he thinks he can do something with him. The issue is whoever comes in is going to take time to assess and speak to all of them before a decision is made. The longer this takes the harder it is to move on those he doesn't want.

Could say the same about Winks. Ndoms with the right manager and system would be class. He’s not a Conte or Mourinho type player. Really hope Winks is sold can’t stand to see him play again with his negative sideways/backwards football.

Keep:

Udogie
Spence

Pre season assessment:

Reguilon
Gil
GLC

Don't keep:

Ndombele
Winks
Rodon

There was talk of Emery wanting to link up with GLC again so wouldn't surprise me if he goes to Villa.....and proceeds to rip it up for them, knowing our luck!

This obsession that some have with thinking Lo Celso will come good is laudable but Ive seen no evidence to date that it will happen.
Try watching him play for Argentina and/or Villareal then. I agree at Spurs he's only shown this potential for a small amount of time, but in the 2.5 seasons he was at Spurs he played under 4 permanent managers. That's not exactly going to help a player that's new to the league settle well.

So there is a lot of evidence that he is a really good player, but not a lot of evidence of it at Spurs. Doesn't mean we shouldn't give him a chance under a new manager, especially given how hard it is going to be for us to sell enough players this summer and buy in new replacement ones.

In The last 4 seasons, he has been injured 31% of the time. That is just time unavailable for the squad and doesn't take into account getting back to match fitness form etc. Even if we can get him to replicate his Argentina & Villarreal form, he is just simply not reliable enough fitness wise and if Villarreal or Aston Villa want him (as reports suggest) we should bite their hands off.

If a manager came in and said they want Ndombele to stay, that would be a huge red flag on the judgement and/or their due diligence IMO.

Just double checking this isn't an old re-hashed thread. How has Ndombele have two years remaining on his contract?

For me Udogie, Reguillon, Spence. Gil Im 50:50 on.
You say that about Lo Celso but for me, he's shown more in our shirt and on loan than Reggie has.

Personally, I'd be happy for the new gaffer to have a season with Gio but I think Reggie just doesn't have enough.
He's not particularly good at either defending or attacking, just running up and down the pitch and seems to be rather injury prone to boot.
