There’s reports they want a similar amount for him as Mydruk went for. I saw him a couple of seasons ago and although he looked raw you could tell he was a good player. Then was the time to get him when we could have picked him up for a third of what the Ukrainian went for.

Arsenal are going for Diaby no? Read rumours of a €60 mil bid. Way to much for us ether way. Zaniolo for us makes a lot of sense, youth, contract situation, price, potential and the fact that Conte is a big fan. Even if we do actually decide to make moves this window, which I’m still sceptical about, I don’t see us bringing in players that cost 50+ mil

Surely the Conte situation will play into it massively as well. I can’t see us going for him if there is a real chance Conte walks/gets let go.

I’m guessing Roma have said they will sell if he doesn’t sign his contract this month.

I could see us waiting to see if we can sign him. If not then it will be a last minute panic to sign Trossard or Danjuma.

I think it's obviously been discussed, keep him but be forced to pay through the nose for players he wants or sack him, face the backlash and buy bits and bobs for Poch.

This is really good to read. At least it means we'll have some stability until the end of the season.

As much as performance & results not been great in last 9 games....we are still comfortably 5th with 19 games to go, FA Cup & CL.

With the number of injuries we have had , current table position, I dont think its something Levy will sack Conte for. Some Fans may not want Conte but there is no reason for Levy to act.

If Conte wont walk, then its all the more likely we will finish the season with him. Jan incomings may tell us, if we are buying specifically for Conte or in general.
