Tottenham, Paratici in Milan for the outgoing transfer market: contacts with Rome and Sampdoria

Not only do you go out, though: in the meeting with the Giallorossi there was also talk of Nicolò Zaniolo . The Roma striker is an old fan of Paratici, who already wanted him at the time of Juventus. The director has asked for information, but at the moment no negotiations have been made.

He has all the ability in the world - but he's incredibly injury prone, which is a huge concern.

However, If he's the Eriksen alternative, I can get on board with this signing for the right price.

Don't think he gives us anything that Kulusevski doesnt already bring to the table. Can see the logic in that he's capable of playing RW or AM but at i'd rather spend the money on a right winger that offers a different skillset to deki and let him cover the AM position in the rotation. plus, explosive knees.

Exactly how I feel about it. Very odd. BUT as we know, Paratici lines up several deals at once, could be a smoke screen or pressure on Leeds.

Tbf regarding his injury record, he was in the squad for 30/38 league games last season, and of the 8 games he missed, 3 of them were due to yellow card/red card suspensions.

Think he would potentially be able to play up front?

I haven't watched him, for people who have what going on with him only having 2 goals and 1 assist in 2000 minutes in the league this season if he's meant to be so good?

Is he good?

Only ever heard the name...
Potentially he could be the best Italian play of his generation. If your talking about raw potential, his footballing ability and reading of the game is incredible. But, injuries have stunted his development somewhat and right now he is rather inconsistent to say the least. Also his relationship with Jose is really bad and he needs to leave.

Would be a risky one. You keep him fit and he fulfils his potential, you genuinely have a world class talent on your hands. But if he doesn’t on ether count he could be a big flop.

In my opinion it’s a bit of an odd one now that we have Kulu as they are quite similar in some regards, but Paratici loves him and he might be worth the risk if not to pricy but there are others I’d prefer.

I sent a PM to the mods a few weeks ago with some ITK that we were interested in Zaniolo. I wasnt 100% sure how reliable it was but its interesting to see links now emerging.

He's awful. Watched a lot of Roma last year and Zaniolo was given a huge role and responsibility in the team. He just didn't deliver. Jose even played him as a secondary striker and changed shape just to get him in and he didn't repay his faith. Wasteful with the ball. Doesn't naturally have an eye for goal. Spends half his time on the floor, arms in the air, appealing for a foul.

Literally, lamela mk II minus the effort and desire.

Pass.

you might be right and i guess he does fit the mould of a versatile attacker we've been rumoured to be after. I just think for how much it would cost to get him there are much sounder investments out there
