What has Levy got to lose by giving over control to a Rangnick/Nagelsmann axis or similar? He’ll still be around to take back power if it doesn’t work, essentially without blame and all I told you so, while he’ll be hailed a hero if it does work

just get out of your own damn way Levy
This is exactly what we need. Two that will work in harmony and Rangnick has an eye for a player. Shame levy is just too determined to stick about and not leave things to those in the know. We should be like dortmund but instead looking like Newcastle under the Ashley ownership.

‘dork’ because he has a Masters degree - or any kind of education for that matter?

Brendan would have something to prove and so would potter, i would worry more about Potter confidence but i would prefer potter!

TBH they are 2 candidates a month ago we as fan would not have considered and we properly consider spurs better than them.

how we have fallen.

whoever comes in is is set up to fail sadly and we need to address that before anything.
I don't consider us "better than them" but I still don't want either.

You've said it yourself, control.

Ange would be the second oldest permanent manager in the prem if we hired him (while we're rumored to be looking for a "younger Poch").

I'm sorry but I just can't buy what-so-ever that hiring would work out.

yeah but that idea has been thrown out the window when we didn't get slot and won't get nags. so now we are into save face territory which could mean anyone and they try to sell it as their first option after they have briefed the media that every other person was a first option except for Nags who we outright said we had zero interest in lol

Which says it all. People in here against Enrique yet he is good enough for the French and Italian champions.
I think actually pushing the boat out (unwisely, as it turns out) for Mourinho and Conte has made a lot of people forget where we actually sit in the pecking order of things, to be honest.

2 years older than Klopp. 4 years older than Ten Hag. 5 years older than Pep. He’s not mr burns. There’s plenty of reasons why I’m sceptical about him but the age thing just doesn’t make sense to me.

Should have clarified in that the original reports were regarding how we were looking for a younger Poch type of manager and that would certainly not fit that criteria.

Yeah, it’s the “DNA” thing all over again. Float out there they want what they know a majority of the fans want, but have no plan to actually implement it.
