Didn’t realise the away section is set up for safe standing
Hops? With those grow lights we may as well plant something far more lucrative. Just can't think what......If Levy has any sense he’d plant hops on the pitch for our beer. Might as well sweat that asset.
My guess is Interstellar is real. We're leaving for Mars!(March)
FFS, why is there no THFC branding on the external of the stadium?
I'm sure there are a few on here who could stand in for itIm going to be honest - i want another cock on the other side of the entrance - I like symmetry... although given the way the slope is on the other side i dont think it will have work
I like symmetry
Can appreciate that lots of people will agree with you but I'm actually the opposite, similar to how I'm not a fan of matchy-matchy clothes (pocket square identical to the tie, trainers and top both having the exact shade of *insert colour here*).Im going to be honest - i want another cock on the other side of the entrance - I like symmetry... although given the way the slope is on the other side i dont think it will have work

Won’t matter they will stand anywayDidn’t realise the away section is set up for safe standing
Neither did I although I guess if it's there for one lot it probably would be for the other, where did you hear that was the case?Didn’t realise the away section is set up for safe standing

It was research with the NFL and NFLUK. I had to sign stuff so I can't really go into much more detail but yeah.Interesting research carried out. Was this for your degree or something along those lines?
Personally I disagree. I believe that if an NFL franchise came to London on a permanent basis the sport would grow significantly over here. People would grow far more tribal with a team they can go see, know more about, have more media attention focused around thekmetc and whilst some would stick to their NFL teams already chosen, the prospect of season tickets, genuine following on a competitive level, the thought of game day and atmosphere of it all would bring thousands of new fans to the sport.
Me personally I enjoy the NFL and have drifted between teams I enjoy watching. If a team was in London it would be a given that I'd get the opportunity to know more about the players, the team, the game day, be able to get together with fellow fans to watch games, have a beer with them etc it would add significantly to my experience as a fan.
I don't think an NFL team would fizzle out here, I think when you look back at how many franchises have moved from one City in the states to another and gone onto grow that a move to a completely untapped market in not just London but in Europe could be a giant gain for a team needing new life breathed into it

Probably best to have a debate elsewhere but personally the major issue would be free agency and contracts, never mind the logistics of it all. Most NFLUK fans follow it as a secondary sport, a fair few probably couldn't commit to ~1k a year on a season ticket. Probably 25% of NFLUK fans travel to the game from >2hrs away, do that every other week on a consistent basis? These are all things that you have to debate and sum up. I know that you've had moving around the States but that's really nothing in comparison.
Does anyone know the car park capacity looks huge.
I think it is reserved for disabled fans and presumably bigwigs. The planning consent included no general parking on site for spectators. Like Wembley and every such development nowadays, it’s been designed to deter people from driving to matches and to compel them to use public transport. It’s national planning policy.Does anyone know the car park capacity looks huge.
