New Stadium Microsite: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new-scheme/

Hi, dont know if this has been posted already if it has please feel free to delete/move it.

Now that plans for a new stadium have been announced are there any pictures/mock-ups doing the rounds. I would be very surprised if there are not pictures somewhere (its whether they have been leaked i suppose). I had the ones from a while pack - the outline drawings although they didnt really give a feel for what the place would actually look like.

cheers

that's just someone playing around with sketchup, may as well be my scribble in a book.

Maybe so, but I'd rather that than the emirates with blue seats photoshop efforts that have been doing the rounds.

It'll be very similar to the Emirates but slightly different layout due to lower capacity.

I hope it remains rectangular and we dont go down the bowl route. Atmosphere is definately lost with the bowl shape. Would be happy with a stadium similar to the Allianz Arena

Their lower capacity or ours? There won't be much more than 1000 in it either way. And out of ~60k, that will effect the layout even slightly?

I hope you're wrong, Rob. I really do. :)

You know something we don't. HOK...?

Over on sky scraper city they reckon it will be MAKE, not HOK, which would at least suggest we'll get something a bit different that the emirates.

They are also speculating that we'll go for 61k, a) to beat the goons capacity and b) as it's in rememberance of the double year.

But I've seen nothing definitive so far. Not that I'm Rob though

As I said at the bottom of some other thread we should make it 61k

Rub the sc*ms noses in it and celebrate the fantastic side of '61

Come on who agrees ?

Following Levy's recent interview with NLP/COYS, I'm convinced it's going to be a bowl.

As long as he ensures what he claims, that is, the atmosphere being a priority, we can't have too many complaints.

Found this the other day, but it is only a speculative effort and nothing suggests it is close to what we will end up with

That looks like an i-pod with a pitch in it. I-pod Lane possibly?

The same stadium but with White seats and whatever big corperate name all over it. And the Cockeral on top etc etc, sounds likely then.

I actually like the Emirates, but i dont want our stadium to look like our arch-rivals' (although i do follow Milan and they share the San Siro, so i dont know why i'm so fussy here) and i dont like the pitch being set so far back from the pitch.

I disagree. The thought of downgrading to a capacity of just 1961 to commemorate the double winning side is not a good idea for me. Think of the financial loss

Making it 61 just seems so very childish. I mean just make it 70k or 60k, the extra one just seems a bit pointless.

Unless it's a big match and you are number 60'002 to get a ticket :)

Any design that is 60k and finds it can fit in another thousand why not?

With regards to the transport problems, I would propose a tram through possibly Edmonton to the high road, leading to Seven Sisters or some other, more feasible, circular route.

If it looked something like this then it would be pretty cool! Cauldron style will make nthe atmosphere hot! Obviously will have smaller pitch than in this picture...
