Four years ago, having sold up in the UK we built a new house in Ireland and deliberately told our builder to turn the house around 180 degrees from the plan. We preferred it that way as it gave us a much better view from the living room! #Justsayin

Nice rectangular bit of concrete laid today. Right in the middle of where the new pitch will be. Handy spot for a tower crane methinks.

The mind boggles at how a project like this comes together and is planned so perfectly. Can't afford to make mistakes along the way in all honesty. I'm in awe simply at how they smoothed out all that dirt and just plonk down a bit of tarmac in what appears to be a random position, but they know exactly why they've done so

I'm easily pleased.
