Well, if I remember correctly, the Kop end is at the wider end of the egg shaped stadium. I would guess that it is to enable a better accoustic projection of the singing etc from the Kop. That being the case I am sure that the hoardings would not be placed so as to restrict the sound from the Spurs fans but, hopefully will be placed so as to restrict the noise from the opponents fans!
Egg shape? Come on we all know it's the toilet bowl!!!
I do love the stadium. I'm so hoping I get to work on the lighting proposals for this
I had a walk around today to take a few pics before some of it goes, and got a few of Archway too.
Thanks for uploading these.
The first 3 pics have almost a surreal look to them - did you use any filters or effects on them, or is this just how they turned out?
Don't let English Heritage see these pictures, it makes the three buildings that are earmarked for demoliton for the NDP, look characterful and worth keeping.
That is the one that's staying isn't it?
Awesome pics. We'll treasure these memories in years to come, as much as we grumble now. The place has character (as well as rats, mice, cockroaches and generalised social deprivation) - and THFC is a shining light in the area. I hope success on the pitch can lift spirits in the area as well as the new stadium.
