What are the plans, if there are any, for the red and green bit?

I think the red bit is where Sainsbury's used to be (before it moved to Northumberland Park) ? A relative of mine who lives in the area received a flyer/leaflet through the door from the club laying out plans to build flats on that site.

I thought the area between WHL station and the stadium is also up for redevelopment - although the new council hit pause on the plans. I think that area included a new huge library and would look a lot like the area around Wembley Stadium for retail space and after game crowd control

Not owned by us.

In due course, but the question was about land owned by the club and that whole area is not. Most of it is owned by Haringey Council.

I'm sure I can remember the days when I used to live, off Turnpike Lane, in Haringay.
When did the name change from an A to an E?

I wonder how much of the property development we can say is stadium related so that it doesn’t get counted towards FFP but still makes us money through rent and capital values.

Stadiums aren’t included in FFP so I doubt property build are. Although the extra revenue would be.

I wonder if its a grey area in the UEFA FFP rules though. When does part of the NDP stop being the stadium development in UEFA's eyes. Do UEFA even have wording in their FFP rules about it. (I'm just speaking out loud, not asking you the question obviously).

Take the training ground and on site hotel. It wouldn't be counted in FFP but does the income we get from letting, Brazil for example, stay there, if its being used to pay off a loan for its construction be counted. I just wonder.

There is a neighbourhood, centred on Wightman Rd, Green Lanes, the New River and the "ladder roads", which is called "Harringay", with 2 Rs.

The local authority is spelled "Haringey", which was named for the neighbourhood, but they adopted an older spelling.

Nothing is spelled "Haringay".

"Hornsey" comes from the same Anglo-Saxon root.

The best explanation I can find for the spelling difference is here.

Haringey is made up of four former boroughs Tottenham, Wood Green, Hornsey and Haringay, Haringay was the smallest and not officially a borough of it's own so they named the new borough after it but changed the a to an e to differentiate. This all happened back in 1964/65 when they formed Greater London and at that time it was a bit of a sensitive issue as the other boroughs were roughly the same size so it's a bit of a compromise. A bit confusing when you played for Tottenham boys then suddenly played for Haringey boys.

I’m pretty sure there’s Something in FFP about infrastructure not being included. But revenue like you stated just goes into the pot so would be counted as a plus for us. You can’t start discounting revenue streams a club is making. But the the spend on infrastructure probably is a grey area. The point of FFP is to stop clubs going into debt. So I don’t see difference between player debt and stadium debt.

Thanks guys I sort of remembered it happening whilst I still lived there (Hornsey Park Road), moved out in late 71 when I got married and moved to Hemel. My wife worked for Kodak and they moved their offices up there right on the "magic roundabout". We got housing up there so it was a good way to start our married life.
@davidmatzdorf I used to go fishing:cautious: in the New River up near the railway bridge, jumped over the gate there. I fell in and nearly drowned but my brother pulled me out.
Thought the Haringay looked wrong forgot about the double r.
Used to get the 44 bus from Turnpike Lane station up to White Hart Lane crossroads with Gt Cambridge Road and walk down past the cemetery with my eldest brother in mid 50's.
