I agree except for Robbe. He should have done better on both goals imo.
I rate him 5 and think he is gone next season.
Both Jenas and Zakora was too bloody casual.
Lennon was ok and as you pointed out Keane was a wee bit too selfish and wrong attitude when taken off, however it prooves he wants to play!

Does it worry anyone else that very few players seem to have taken Ramos' words about no one's places being in the bags in to consideration? Our defence and Keane look like they want it, but everyone else looks like they have nothing to play for.

i dont feel they did much wrong but think woodgate was the only one who looked commanding and put in a performance for 90 mins
I think defense was OK, but midfielders were aweful!
Jenas was pukish.

Despite letting in 2 goals I still thought that Robbo & the back 4 played well overall.

You're right!
The defense was good but midfielders were poor.
Chimb did good today and he is m.o.m for me!
Jenas = poor and zakora 2

Robinson - 7 - couldn't do much about the goals, though I do think he should've at least reacted for the second one. Came out and caught a few crosses quite confidently.

Hutton - 8 - Man of the Match. Superb buy. Up and down his touchline throughout the game. Worked incredibly hard, no real faults.

Dawson - 7 - very good apart from at the second goal. Some important blocks and generally good distribution.

Woodgate - 8 - solid as ever. Same as Daws re: blocks and distribution.

Chimbonda - 7 - did well to expose Corluka and set up Keane. Stood off his opponent a couple of times and gave them too much space. Good backtracking (for once!). Woefully one-footed.

Lennon - 6 - one notthatgreat shot, but was dangerous and showed some good skills at times. Can't understand why he was subbed.

Jenas - 5 - an off day, but had an ok first half. Disappeared in the second half when he didn't seem to know whether to play in the middle or on the right.

Zokora - 6 - great engine and all that, but he's still hopeless with the ball. Also disappeared as the game went on.

Malbranque - 6 - did alright, but made a few bad choices in decent positions.

Berbatov - 6 - not at his best. Flashes of brilliance but never really delivered.

Keane - 7 - brilliant goal. Was playing quite well before he was subbed.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Huddlestone - 6 - alright, but him coming on upset the midfield balance.

O'Hara - 6 - a couple of good deliveries, should have had an assist.

Bent - 6 - worked hard, should have had a goal.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ramos - 5 - all three sub decisions were wrong IMO. Especially Hudd on for Lennon at HT which upset the balance of our midfield. But most of the players had just come from 120 mins on Thursday and it showed.

Robinson 6 - decent save, good picture for their second goal. ( their first as well )
Hutton 6 - ok
Woodgate 8 - solid, very good game
Dawson 6.5 - did ok
Chimbonda 7 - one of the best games for him. Good assist plus vital tackle.
Zokora 0 - waste of time
Jenas 4 - poor game
Malbranque 2 - good tackler, no production as always
Lennon 3 - good runs but poor crosses
Keane 0 - my favourite player, but sorry, legends shouldn't react like that !
Berbatov 5.5 - good movement but not effective.

Huddlestone 3 - shoot with power, power, power, without techinque you would never improve, poor.
O'Hara 6.5 - his set-pieces improved today.
Bent n/a - not effective in important games as always.

Ramos 3
- you used Tainio as RB and LB, O'Hara for LB and a lot of out position players recently, why not Keane as LW instead of taking him off for useless striker everytime ? or using them all in 4-3-3 ?
- what's the point of taking our pacy and only real winger for Huddlestone while our best tackler winger in the world still on the pitch ?
- Zokora/Jenas partnership again, and the same mistakes again.

I think we missed Poyet

Lol, well Bent put in some effort, and scored a perfectly good goal that got wrongly ruled out. Pop along to dictionary.com if you're unsure of the word effective.

Bad day at the office. Team gets a 5.5 from me. (dont normally do hlaves but I can't decide between 5 and 6)

I suspect many players are just looking forward to their summer hols now and just want the season to be over. Yes they are professionals but it must be very difficult to have the same intensity in your play as when it's all to play for. We do still need to get a couple of wins to make sure we are secure though.
I also suspect that, like everton earlier, we suffered from the 120 mins and losing in the shootout midweek.

Bloody hell, I actually agree with almost all of that.

Hutton was my MotM, he really is an excellent buy. Rest of the defence played well but I wouldn't rate Daws and Woodgate quite so highly (take a point off each) due to the fact that we conceded 2 goals, both bad.

It was nice to see O'Hara and Bent come on and put in some real effort. Unfortunately for Benty he always gets brought on when the opposition has reverted to 11-at-the-back, and yet he still scored a good goal. O'Hara wants to play for Spurs, it's desperately obvious in his every step, and I'd like to see one hell of a lot more of that from other players. He also delivered more good crosses and dead balls in 20 minutes than the rest of the team put together had done in the previous 70.

I'd give them both an extra point.

Oh and take a point at least off Robinson, who clearly was at fault for both goals, because he made no effort with either of them, which really isn't good enough.

Keane wasn't nearly as good as he clearly thought he was and Berbatov was, once again I might add, absolutely shocking. I don't think I've seen a player so clearly uninterested since the worst moments of Ginola (which everyone conveniently forgets all about).

Dawson and Woodgate were again immense. Dawson was at fault for their 2nd, but just because we concede 2 goals, doesn't mean that they automatically lose marks, because that is ghey. If City scored 2 goals which were both offside, then how can you blame the defenders?

I think that Robbo is pants and he will be sold in the summer. But he played well today and it would be extremely harsh to crticize him with regards to both goals. The first goal was offside, and the 2nd was a combination of: a good cross + a good run, and some poor marking by Dawson.

Robbo -7 though he played well. off his line much better
Hutton- 8 Elano who? also got forward alot
Dawson -7 Apart from the second goal, thought he had a fantastic game. "Dawson wins it...again"
Woodgate -8 is good
Chimbonda- 8 Realy good game by him today. Got back to save us a few time.
Lennon- 6 Not alot of the ball, but thought he was getting more into the game
Zokora -4 Pulled out of possition to easy and gave the ball away. Rarely ofered an option.
Jenas- 7 Not sure why people say he had a bad game. Thought he was our best midfeilder (not hard today) Tryed to get things going, but with little help around him found it tough.
Malbranque- 6 has gone off the boil last few games. Was far to infeild for my liking
Keane -6 Fantastic goal, but was hardly a threat on goals.
Berbatov- 6 tryed to do too much? or do everything too well? what ever it was it didn't realy come off today.

Hudd- 6 a couple of good passes, but never realy had an impact.
Bent -6.5 Starting to like what im seing of Bent. Gives a more direct threat on goals, something we often miss.
O'Hara -6.5 Typical O'Hara lot of effert and got stuck in.

you sure your not mistaking dawson for chimbo because all i saw was the ball come into the box and chimbonda duck..... get him out in the summer

Dawson was also there as well, between them they both managed to miss the header.

Robinson - 7 - couldn't do much about the goals and caught a few crosses.......scary!!

Hutton - 7 - Played well in the first half, but I thought he faded in the second. Did well going forward and never really troubled at the back.

Dawson - 7.2 - Alongside an experience player, he is is a different player. Blocked several shots, and won most things in the air. Questionably at fault for the second, but in my opinion, my man of the match.

Woodgate - 7.1 - Excellent player and so composed. Never looks ruffled, and just edged out by Dawson for MOM

Chimbonda - 7 - Did well on the left. I thought he got forward well and contained the threat on the left. Not ideal for him to play on the left with only a left foot to stand on, but a better option than anything else available.

Lennon - 5 - Why does he not take on players. So frustrating that he does not utilise the great pace he possesses. Cut inside so many times, and it was often left to Hutton to provide the width on the right.

Jenas - 5 - Poor game. The Jenas, Zokora partnership is still not right, Jenas playing far too deep. Did not look his normal energetic self.

Zokora - 5 - Did alright in the 1st half, but awful in the 2nd. a bystander in the middle.

Malbranque - 5 - I don't know why, but Steeds last handful of performances have been poor. Works hard, but no end product at the moment.

Berbatov - 5 - did not look interested today. Just did not get going.

Keane - 6.5 - great goal. Did not deserve to be subbed, but silly reaction.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Huddlestone - 5 - did not control midfield.

O'Hara - 6 - did what was required.

Bent - 6 - won the ball in the air a lot, scored a goal and tried to get in behind the defence.

MOTM - officials.

I dont blame outcomes on the officials - you have to overcome their mistakes to win sometimes. But....Spurs have room to complain - Im pretty sure Ireland was off on their first goal and dont understand disallowing our equalizer at all. On a different day both could have gone the other way. But what really bother me was that Spurs and the officials had no answer for the increase in physical play in the second half. Spurs just let 'em come out and slug it out.

I don't quite see how Berbatov, who was on for 90 minutes and did nothing, can get a 6, whereas Bent who was hardly on, but scored a perfectly good goal that the officials ruled offside, gets a 5.

Berbs is normally 10 times better than Bent, but not today.
