Robinson 7.5 - Played well the whole match. Not at fault for the goals and made some vital saves in the first half.

Hutton 7.5 - Had Elano in his pocket the whole match, looked and played well.

Woodgate 8 - Again flawless.

Dawson 7 - Was awesome until their second goal. He has to take the blame.

Chimbonda 8 - Set up the goal, stopped a couple of dangerous runs by their Mexican player.

Lennon 5.5 - Played rubbish and was rightly subbed.

Zokora 6 - Didier do anything? Was marginally better than Jenas

Jenas 5 - He was pants today. Dead balls were shit, his passing was poor. Pants

Malbranque 5.5 - Not up to his usual self.

Keane 5.5 - World class finish. Apart from that he was selfish, poor passing and link play and then showed unbelievable petulance at being subbed - disgraceful.

Berbatov 4.5 - He was that bad today. Pissed around too much with the ball. Weak shots, all round he was terrible.

SUBS:

Huddlestone 5.5 - came on for Lennon and was just as bad.

O'hara 6 - played some great dead balls.

Bent 6 - Scored a legitimate goal which was ruled out for offside. Played ok.

Conclusion:

The defence played great today, the midfield were woeful and so were the strikers. Robbed by the officials, their first goal was offside, and then our disallowed goal was wrongfully disallowed for offside (Berbatov was not interfering with play).

Gutted.

Bad loss. All we had to do was test Hart more. He would have been found wanting.

MOTM: Hutton.

Robinson 6 - decent save, good picture for their second goal. ( their first as well )
Hutton 6 - ok
Woodgate 8 - solid, very good game
Dawson 6.5 - did ok
Chimbonda 7 - one of the best games for him. Good assist plus vital tackle.
Zokora 0 - waste of time
Jenas 4 - poor game
Malbranque 2 - good tackler, no production as always
Lennon 3 - good runs but poor crosses
Keane 0 - my favourite player, but sorry, legends shouldn't react like that !
Berbatov 5.5 - good movement but not effective.

Huddlestone 3 - shoot with power, power, power, without techinque you would never improve, poor.
O'Hara 6.5 - his set-pieces improved today.
Bent n/a - not effective in important games as always.

Ramos 3
- you used Tainio as RB and LB, O'Hara for LB and a lot of out position players recently, why not Keane as LW instead of taking him off for useless striker everytime ? or using them all in 4-3-3 ?
- what's the point of taking our pacy and only real winger for Huddlestone while our best tackler winger in the world still on the pitch ?
- Zokora/Jenas partnership again, and the same mistakes again.

I think we missed Poyet

Chimbonda was good today specailly in first half.
The whole was too bloody casual.
Why the heck did Ramos pull off Lennon and Keane?
It should have been Jenas off, replaced by Hudd!
I smell big changes in the summer and some of our favourite may be off too!
They keep saying we have nothing to play for - I feel sorry for fans to travel across England and pay money and the Spurs Club that keeps paying wages and the sponsors!
We have got things to play for!
Bloody, stop being casual and get on with it and win the games before we are dragged into the bottom six!
Let's at least get to top 10, but NO, we got bloody nothing to play for!!!
Yes, i aint happy!

Robinson was poor again! Why the heck is he getting marks over 5?!?!
He stood and watched the first goal go in and stood and wahtched the second.
Ok, he did make a good save, but i could have done that!

Robinson - 7 - Did OK. Came for a couple of crosses :)

Hutton - 8 - Worked the right flank well. Did very well

Chimbonda - 8 - Defended brilliantly, and even got an assist

Dawson - 7 - Good blocks. Maybe at fault for their goal

Woodgate - 7 - Did well

Lennon - 7 - Worked hard, stretched City

Malbranque - 7 - Did his defensive duties well

Zokora - 6 - OK first half half, anonymous in the 2nd

Jenas
- 6 - OK first half half, anonymous in the 2nd

Keane - 7 - Great finish, did well

Berbatov - 5 - Held ball up well on the odd occasion, but my man crush was poor today

SUBS:
I thought Hudd was, like the others in the middle of the park, totally anonymous. Jamie put some good balls into the box, and got an assist (or at least he should have, you lino ****). Bent did well, and scored (or at least he should have, you lino ****).

That is all.

Hutton, Dawson, Woodgate and Chimbo were all pretty good today. The rest need revising.

I thought the back four were good today. Seeing as the midfield never really bothered venturing forward, quite suprising how often the back four were left to deal with the City counter attacks by themselves.

Hooray. ChRiStOpHe praises Chimbonda.

I agree, i think our fullbacks were both excellent today. Hutton a little more so in my view, but Chimbonda was solid and made a couple of key interventions. Mistake on their second goal, but he prevented two sure-fire ones and assisted ours.

Bloody hell, I actually agree with almost all of that.

Hutton was my MotM, he really is an excellent buy. Rest of the defence played well but I wouldn't rate Daws and Woodgate quite so highly (take a point off each) due to the fact that we conceded 2 goals, both bad.

It was nice to see O'Hara and Bent come on and put in some real effort. Unfortunately for Benty he always gets brought on when the opposition has reverted to 11-at-the-back, and yet he still scored a good goal. O'Hara wants to play for Spurs, it's desperately obvious in his every step, and I'd like to see one hell of a lot more of that from other players. He also delivered more good crosses and dead balls in 20 minutes than the rest of the team put together had done in the previous 70.

I'd give them both an extra point.

Oh and take a point at least off Robinson, who clearly was at fault for both goals, because he made no effort with either of them, which really isn't good enough.

Keane wasn't nearly as good as he clearly thought he was and Berbatov was, once again I might add, absolutely shocking. I don't think I've seen a player so clearly uninterested since the worst moments of Ginola (which everyone conveniently forgets all about).

:)

I'm not anti-Chimbonda for the sake of it, you know :-D

As you said, both full-backs did well. Hutton did well even when Lennon was replaced, and Chimbonda made some crucial challenges, especially in the first half.

Credit where credit's due and all that
