I live near Coventry and have a few mates who are Sky Blue fans. They have been raving about him saying that he turned their season and played a major part in saving them from relegation.
I know it's League One but his performances have been excellent, playing as a holding midfielder dictating play. Simliar to what Bentaleb tries and does for us.
Considering I've always classed him as winger, just shows what a great job our academy has done and also credit to Ward to beable to adapt for the benefit of the team.
I hope he get's a chance and might save us a few pennies in the transfer market.

The reason some players who were out on loan are involved and others aren't is due to the end dates of the loans. If the loan was until the end of the season and hasn't been cut short, then that runs until end of June I think. All and Pritchard are in these kind of loans. Ward's loan was shorter in duration and clearly is already up. Carroll's is the only that's any different, but that's purely because his loan was cut short after picking up an injury.

The likes of Kane, Bentaleb and Mason shouldn't be playing at all if possible. Give the younger yoofs a chance.

It is daft but I'd rather have them hopping half way across the world at the end of a season rather than for pre-season.
It's a sensible decision in that sense.

Good to see Poch is prepared to give Yedlin, Carroll and Winks a go, and by the size of the bench there will be a fair number of subs, including more new faces perhaps

Isn't Winks more defensive minded than his position in that lineup suggests?

Winks has played as a no 10 before, so possibly a standard 4231 with Eriksen LW, Winks no 10 and Townsend RW - but if Poch is adventurous (unlikely I know) its a 433 with Winks dropping into CM where he more usually plays.
