Forster
Sanchez - Davies
Porro - Dier - Sessegnon
Bentancur - Hojbjerg
Deji - Kane - Son

Rest Royal for AC Milan. Perisic probably better suited to playing against them as well.

Dier shown in front of the other two CBs to demonstrate how he needs to keep stepping out on the press (he's still a CB). I really loved the way he (finally) started doing it vs. City. We had been far too flat before that. It made such a difference. More of the same please.

The other 2 CB's have been the ones to push out in past games.

It made sense against City to match up so Romero on Halland, Davies on Àlverez and let Dier push up onto Silva when he got forward.

It will depend how Leicester set up if they go 1 or 2 up top as to who should push up and attack the ball.

Any talk of major rotation seems miles wide of the mark for me. We have a couple of enforced changes. But if the City game is a turning point for our form and season, then this is a must win. They are suspect at the back, especially the keeper, so we need a front foot game that has our front 3 very active in possession. If we sit back and allow a midfield 5 for them boss the ball, it'll be very deflating.

I'd be tempted to give Porro his debut. I'd prefer Dier shifting right and Lenglet coming in to replace Romero. But I expect sanchez to start with Royal outside him and it'll be interesting to see if that works out, or is targeted mercilessly by Rodgers.

If we turn up on the front foot, and don't camp out on our 18 yard line, we should win easily.

Haven't paid too much attention to them, saw they smashed Villa 4-2 and assumed they had turned the corner after a bad start to the season but they are still down in 14th. 1 win in last 5.

We really need to attack from the first minute and not let them get any advantage. Kane, Son and Kulu need to bring the energy.

I watched that game. Villa largely dominated it. Leicester scored with nearly every shot on target and I think 3 of their goals were the result of Villa defensive mistakes.

I wouldn't read too much into the Citeh game, we know their style suits our strengths very well. Leicester will tell us much more about any progress.

Personally I'd like to see Rich in for Son, Sanchez for Romero and Porro for Royal.

Would be harsh to drop Royal after how well he played in the City game but maybe we promise him the Milan game given the threat Leao has off the left? Can also promise Son a start in midweek to keep him sweet.

Think Richarlison both needs and deserves a start but sadly, knowing Conte, he'd drop Kulu instead of Son to bring him in, despite that making zero sense.

I've always felt Leicester as the side, apart from City, who most suit our style. Harry and Son seem to like playing against them at any rate.

Without scoring Sonny looked much better v City and I think it would be harsh to take him out after that.

Yeah certainly seems like it. I guess they're both possession-based teams that tend to leave a lot of space in behind for us to exploit and never actively set up to shut us down like most other teams do. We've also played well against Liverpool in recent years as I think their style suits us too, except we never get any luck in those games unlike vs City where everything tends to go our way.

Emerson was great the other day, but this will be a totally different game.
Sunday we sat deep, had something to hold onto and defended fantastically.
Leicester we will have alot more of the ball, Porro will be vital , hopefully he hits the ground running.

Yeah he was defo better but I think Rich deserves a start at some point and Son surely plays vs Milan. Feels like now's a good time to rotate.

Plus Son was incredible vs Leicester off the bench earlier in the season.

Emerson RCB, gives me slightly more assurance than Sanchez and much more than Tang.

Great to hear Porro makes his bow.
