Ledley doesn't ever seem to show any emotion, but we all think he's as passionate if not more than Keane is. Why is that? Just because he's been here since he was a trainee?

I think it's unfair that other players reactions at the Cup Final are void, yet Keane's proves his passion, love for the club and commitment! :p

What do you make of the ITK regarding Robbie Dougal?

Keane for me, he's improved year on year considerably over the past four years. Berbatov looks looks more skill ful and has better ball control but I don't think he has the right attitude. Ifwe get 30 mill for him I would take it.

Do you realise that you havent answered the question?

The question was not about players behaviour, attitude or what they bring to the team, the question who is the better footballer, as simple as.......

Now your answer is .............?

I just think it's unfair on many of our other players to suggest that they're not as passionate about the club as Robbie Keane, perhaps just because they have a different way of showing it, or don't really show it at all.

You may be right, but I think it's equally unfair for you to single out Robbie Keane in the way you do based on other people's positive opinion of him. He's been a good servant to the club and I think it's fair enough that he get's shown a little loyalty in return.

It's pretty cut and dried that Dimitar is the more technically gifted of the two, the better footballer. The thing is you can appreciate a player for more than solely their technical ability, just ask Steffen Freund. I think the longer you support Spurs the more you'll appreciate different things.

Admittadly, that does add to it, but it only has more recently and mainly it's just because I find him more frustrating than effective.

I certainly didn't say that, not sure who did. I did say that I missed the reactions of Berbatov and Zokora but that was down to my own reactions of going fucking mental

What do you make of the ITK regarding Robbie Dougal?

I take it with a pinch of salt as is advised with all ITK

Anyone, I've never even heard of Robbie Dougal but he sounds good

That's what I thought, be interesting to see the outcome though, considering the stick that Berbatov gets, and the amount of fans that say good riddance if he wants out. When it comes down to it, he's a far superior player.

Sorry, I must have misunderstood the question. I thought it was just who is the better player, not about attitude or who performs better, which is why Berbs gets stick.

Berbatov is a better footballer but i think Keanes a better finisher.

The joke of it all...(me think) Bent's a better finisher than both.

would have prefered a multiple question topic about the two players, but since it is just who is the better player, obviously Berbs

I voted for Keane because I think he is a more important player and is consistently over 40 plus games better in games. Who is naturally/technically better? That doesn't really matter and probably not debatable because if you ask a Real Madrid fan who was the better player out of Ronaldo and Raul through this narrow prism the answer would be the Brazilian but who was more important for the team- then there, which is the most important aspect, it would be 1000 times out of 1000 be Raul

What makes you think Keane is a more important player than Berbatov?

Berba's by far a more talented individual, but at times this season Keane has contributed more. And he is a natural goalscorer with excellent movement in the box. The important qestion for me is not who is best - but who I want at the club. Berba for another season or Keane for 5,6,7 seasons? And 30+ mill for Berba or 15+ mill for Keano?

On the other hand, the absolutely unrealistic dream of Berbatov and Villa upfront, oh-la-f*cking-la!

I think Keane is more of a team player and contributes more than Berbatov. He is much less hot and cold than DB (other than the very beginning of seasons), generally closes down opponnents better and in terms of passion, committment and loyalty- not to mention skill and goalscoring ability-he is more important than Berbatov when all factors are put into account.
We need players that are technically excellent and we also need players that will 'bleed Spurs'. Keane ticks both those boxes, I am yeto be convinced that Berbatov ticks the latter. Now I am not one of these people who say Berbatov is lazy or doesn't care, I just think he is too often selective in which games he performs and he doesn't close down opposition teams as much and as often as he should.

I have to disagree and say that Keane is just as inconsistent as Berba and far less productive in any way. I think Berba is very much a team player, just as much as Keane, if not more so.

I don't think a makes a difference whatsoever whether they "bleed Spurs" or not (and you can't even be sure whether they do or not anyway). It just matters how much they contribute to the team, and I think Berba contributes a hell of a lot more than Keane does.

Fair enough, to be honest I don't think there is a great deal of difference but I would err on Keane's side regarding consistency and committment. The 'bleeding' comment is a figure of speech so it's not a case of 'knowing' just perception.

This isn't a Keane-goodie, Berba-baddie arguement. I just think one is more important than another which is more relevant than debating who is better.
