Not really. They won the lottery with RA and now their new owner seems even more intent on spending money, whoever said no matter what happens Chelsea will come out of the whole RA selling the club even better was right.

It was never guranteed they would get new owners that are showing this much ambition and spending in the market.

Nobody should be shocked by Chelsea ability to spend when a club gets given a 1.5 billion loan from their oligarch which is predominately spent on players and they simply gets wrote off amongst a new purchase because Uefa and Fifa are useless.
