They lose their criminal overlord in controversial circumstances and somehow come out smelling of roses and spending even more than before. FFS. ?

What do you mean 'even with new owners', surely new owners means this shit was even more likely?

Not really. They won the lottery with RA and now their new owner seems even more intent on spending money, whoever said no matter what happens Chelsea will come out of the whole RA selling the club even better was right.

It was never guranteed they would get new owners that are showing this much ambition and spending in the market.

Their intent is to sign the best players and win things, it's sickening really. When we are told we can't upgrade on Davies because there are no quality CBs out there. It's a joke.

Ffs. Koulibaly, Fofana, Gvardiol, Cucarella in one window (even if Gvardiol remains at Leipzig for a season) is sickening. Ambition.
I wouldn't call it ambition as such , more like desperation with the prices they're paying. Literally no care about FFP.
It's nice to see you can be the centre of sportswashing and benefit for many years.

The purchase basically wrote them off for FFP and started them at a net zero. Crazy how they’ve landed on their feet.

Yeah, we can't compete with the mega-rich clubs, unfortunately.

It was always going to be an uphill battle signing him.

im sorry but at this point Chelsea are no more a mega rich club than we are

the new owners are not oligarchs with unlimited pockets

just a question of the relative ambition of their owners who are also capitalists like Levy / ENIC

Why the fuss? Isnt Bastoni our number one target anyways, even next summer I see him as the one Conte will want. Dont think we would want both next summer and Dier will still be the central figure in our defence.

Wish we had the ability to do this.

He’s a superb player and well worth not having to go through the pain of the two £40m players they would otherwise buy and have to bin off for not being good enough.
if and only if a takeover by a stated-owned oil company

90m now, and get him next season. Instead of activating his release clause next summer for 45m. Great bit of business ??

Quite a few reliable sources said Gvardiol was our first choice this summer.

Nobody should be shocked by Chelsea ability to spend when a club gets given a 1.5 billion loan from their oligarch which is predominately spent on players and they simply gets wrote off amongst a new purchase because Uefa and Fifa are useless. The system is rigged, they are not playing the same game us as the rest of us.

???? ... can this window please close now before the final days ruin the good mood we've had all summer... just because a couple of clubs go transfer-bananas in pure desperation.

Gvardiol my ***
