I didn't hear it, but from what others have said it doesn't sound encouraging....

Fs, there was me thinking we'd be possibly announcing Diarra/Adebayor tomorrow.

Yea the comment on Luka just bloody annoys me. My frustration lies with Modric though not Harry for saying it.

So Harry is saying Modric won't be playing tomorrow night because his head isn't right?

Well there goes the good cop/bad cop theory.....announcing that is hardly being all friendly with Modric.

Either that or Harry is doing him a favour and wants the fans to turn on him so he gets his move....

He did say there would definitely be a couple of signings over the next few days.

He also mentioned getting another midfielder in, who is probably Diarra.

Gary Cook told Harry that the Adebayor deal has a few snags too.

If the 'head isn't right' comment is correct then that puts pay to the idea of Luka being professional. What would happen if someone with an office job couldn't do their job because 'their head isn't right' with regards to another job offer?

Heard most of it before. Luka not playing because "his head isn't right" disgusts me though.

Can we not sell this little shit to Juventus or someone similar in Europe? £25m - £30m for him and reinvest in someone like Marin. I just can't stand having him at the club anymore - to think he is still getting paid more than the average Joe earns in a couple of years each week pisses me of! He's not even injured!

I'd love to phone my boss and tell him that my head wasn't feeling right and won't be in tomorrow.

Sell him.

I just heard Arry on talk'neverbreakingnews'sport! Wow that mata deal? just shows how when u get told a deal is done by your source. it just does a 180 degree turn on ya! and the deals off!! So hope that when people say the ITK needs to put some salt on that i hope people consider this :)

And for everyone talking about what harry said about the Adebayor deal!
He said he spoke to Garry Cook about the deal at half time well tbh if it was hitting a snag like he said it was he wouldnt be telling the radio show beacuse that could upset city and break the deal! he would say somthing along the lines of
"I have no idea how that deal is doing the chairman handles the deals and sorts all that so i have no idea you will have to ask the chairman?"

but the fact he has said that
"It is all goin well just need to sort a few snags with wages"
Says to me that it is all done! Just needs to sort the last few things out but doesnt wana tell the press its all done beacuse then it will be all over the news he has signed before the OS gets the pleasure of having on there site announceing it first!
just a little thought from someone with ITK :)

The more determined he is to leave the more determined I am to make him stay, or rather hope Levy does should I say

That little fucker shouldn't be sold after signing a five year contract, fuck him....the implications of such sale make us small time.

If Redknapp talking about transfers on the radio isn't ITK, then what is?(......ffs)

Very nice of Harry to be giving running commentaries about our transfer activities to various Radio,Tv stations as well numerous newspaper outlets.

I wouldn't be surprised if Harry winds up with the sack before the window closes. THis shit can't be going down well with Levy. It's clear that the Rodent's agent has told him to "do a Berbatov" and Harry seems to be buying it hook line and sinker. Surely Redknapp would know by now how angry the fans got over the Berbatov fuck up and therefore understand why Levy is taking the stand that he is.

There are only two possibilities here. Either Harry is totally undermining Levy and there is serious friction. Or Levy has been a total conman this summer and in a week's time we will be lamenting our renewed status as feeder club to the top four.

Just get rid. It'd be funny if we didn't, as I'd love our hardline stance, but let's sell to some team abroad and cash in on the ungrateful little turncoat.

Harry did seem genuinely surprised that Mata had signed for Chelsea. He immediately said that that would kill the Modric deal.

He also said that Levy would sit down with Modric in a few weeks to discuss his contract. That, I think disgusts me more that him not being able to play because "his head's not in the right place."

He was keener to say that Modric was not for sale this time IMO, than he has been before.

In truth none of us know if there has been more than one bid for him from Chelsea, their Chairman, Bruce Buck, said in an interview last week with The Telegraph that they had made one bid. Yet within hours SSN were reporting a 3rd bid.

Perhaps Modric's head is not right now because he realises that Chelsea do not want him .

That wouldn't happen since someone with an office job can just resign. Football contracts work differently from standard employment contracts.

I don't buy for one minute that Harry didn't know that Chelsea were in for Mata. I reckon that HR/DL were hoping that Chelsea would seal the deal so it took the interest from Luka away.

I do agree that it indicates that Luka will stay for now.

Or end up at United?? Premiership champions, who have strengthened over the summer, apart from the one area would complete the jigsaw. A position that Wesley Sneijder looks unlikely to fill  I'm sure ol' red nose is keeping tabs on the situation, and I don't buy the idea that Luka wants to stay in London.

I really do hope modric sits on the bench for the remaining 5 years of his contract, only being brought on when the board for added time goes up.... And if he does a berbatov and refuses, just fine him a weeks wages! He's went from a legend in my eyes to a little ****. I really hope levy sticks to his word!
