A very sensible move in the era of "home grown player" advantages.

We have enough mediocre English players already but obviously you would be happy with spending £20M or even £35M on more of them.

I would rather go with a squad of 20 players and swell it with under 21 year olds than pay those ridiculous prices for home grown players.

You got a few things wrong

1. Arsenal have money to spend. Wenger has chosen not to spend it.

2. Recent trophies? Not for 6 years or so..

That's their manager's decision and personally I would have sacked him.

Sell player for profit and buy more .............if the manager doesn't buy good players that enhance the team then I would sack him.

Recent trophies..........yeah we are incredible,we have won a Carling Cup.

well naming some players would go a long way to proving your point that selling luka could actually benefit us.

Ok,I will play your game but I will only give you one.

Milan Badelj from Dinamo Zagreb, approx value £15m.

That's because we couldn't afford the wages strikers were asking for.

That's not Harry's fault!

Shush.

With our team, getting 3 points from a possible 18 against:

West Ham (H-D, A-L)
Wigan (H-L, A-D)
Blackpool (H-D, A-L)

is criminal and most certainly is Redknapp's fault.

15 points thrown away there, with just two of those draws converted into wins, and one defeat converted into a draw, we'd be in the CL.

Yup, I remember his post match interview after we drew the home game to spammers and he said he was 'satisfied'! I was fucking fuming!

The fucking annoying thing is that it seems he's learnt absolutely fuck all from last season as well. Same old shit. As I've said all along, he's average and out of his depth, and clearly shown he's tactically inept. There's at least 8-10 managers in the prem league now that are superior to that old outdated mug.

He just cant keep his mouth shut. He can't just say, "WE know which players we want, and we are working hard to get it done". He always has to mention the chairman. He said in the post-match that he knows exactly what he needs, then said that it would depend if Levy could get them for him.

I know nothing by itself. But given his history, and that I dont remember any other manager so repeatedly saying that its in the chairman's hands or the chairman is dealing with it, you've got to think that something is going on.

Frustrating.

Just shut up Harry.

It appears with your amazing rep count that people agree with you Stokespur (insert former name before getting banned here).

i thought his after match interview was one of the most telling ever from him...

a) seems to me he & his staff have been rapped over the knuckles & now the stance has made a swift change to "luka is staying, the chairman has made up his mind"

b) he was pretty irate at the end of the interview when he said we had plenty of good footballers but need charachters & ive said that all along....lets see if the chairman can help me get what i need (or along those lines)

i think the relationship between harry & daniel is very, very strained....perhaps even on its last legs?

the guy simply needs to grasp that he is an "employee" & what DL says goes!!...wether he agrees or not, wether i agree or not, wether your pro harry or anti harry or completely non plussed regards him...

DL is the boss, H needs to just do as he is told or else he is gonna have a big problem...whatever happens he best not have 3 points from 8 games at any point!

Funnily enough I'm not here to kiss ass and massage egos so I get lots of green. Couldn't give a fuck. I'm just stating my opinion, if you don't like it then tough.

I don't think Cudicini is ready to be a manager yet, give him a coaching role first.

And you'd know whether Cudicini is ready for management or not.

He said modric was staying and that he believed Levy when he said he wouldn't sell him , in the interview with talksport the night before the game . Nothing had change at all with what he said last night , you're just reading into it a bunch of stuff that wasn't there .

Not the talksport interview but his post match interview. Am I the only one pissed about what he said regarding us needing players and he knows exactly who to get, and he needs help from the chairman to get them. Always excuses from Redknapp. It doesn't matter who he signs and how many players he has when he's tactically inept.

I've got a feeling Levy don't wanna give him much more to spend as he's incompetent. He wants more players to achieve what we should be able to achieve with the squad we have. He can't get the best from our current squad and failed to achieve what was expected, so why give him more money to spend?

both interviews are a stark contrast to what both H & bond have been spouting for the last god knows how long...

he was aggresive with regard to his "charachter" answers & how he "knows what we need" & needs help from DL

im not looking at things that arent there...things have obviously changed in their relationship!
