Again damning of how badly Levy fucked up, from us being competitive to nowhere near and Kane feeling he had to move on to challenge himself.

I remember when we were supplying the England national team for players and we’re pushing for the title lol.

Poch fucked up with his stupid book and I still feel was part of the problem during that recruitment period, however Levy has since made some atrocious managerial appointments and took far too long to get recruitment process rectified.

This is always gonna burn even if we are successful this season, as we should have been being successful with Kane in the team and were in that position at one point, only to sit back and be lazy / rest on our laurels.

I also remember some of the posters on here being defensive later in Poch’s tenure saying where do we improve as first team already top class, you have to keep things gently ticking over and refreshing or you just end up with a lack of hunger and staleness - we had that opportunity to really kick on and add some class to the squad to take us other the line and Lecy botched it. No matter what he does now won’t change fact he had a once in a generation talent who would score 30 league goals in a season in a good team and he fucked it up good and proper.

Getting a world class centre forward is one of the toughest positions to fill and we had that but let the rest of the team stagnate to a much lower level.

Still fuming about it.

As soon as the stadium project started to gather momentum, which was probably before they put a shovel in the ground, Levy should have hired a DoF. The stadium project alone was more than enough on his plate, without adding football decisions. Even if Levy had been reasonably competent at football-related stuff, something would still have had to give.

I don't do much in the way of social media but I unfollowed him on Facebook today.
I really have no interest in how up he is for his new challenge and that shite keeps popping up on my timeline.

Sorry H but fuck off now!

It doesn't hurt at all, I just have no interest in what he's doing now and don't wish to see pictures of Bayern training popping up on Facebook.

Even if he wanted to leave in 18 months to return home there’s zero chance of him coming back to us if DL is in charge after everything that’s gone on.

Not to mention we wouldn’t pay what’s required to bring him back either.
