you think the other big teams would pay it for a 33/34 year old?

Well first of all, I was replying to a poster talking about a hypothetical 18 months time, not 3/4 years.

But yeah, there’s doubt that other big teams would pay a massive fee for even Kane when he’s 33/34. They’d definitely pay more than we would though, which was my main point.

I really find the interview from him ridiculous to some extent. PL is the most competitive league in the world and now he's saying he wants to feel the pressure to win in a one-horse race bundesliga with a fucking Bayern team who is always odds on to win ALL the league matches. Yeah, no pressure, mate.

So can I say he's not always pressured to win at Tottenham perhaps deep down he knows is not possible?

I think I understand what he is saying. The "pressure" to win means it's unacceptable for Bayern not to win, even losing a game is a failure.

If you lose a game at Spurs or even finish 8th, no-one gives a shit. If Bayern finish 2nd, hell freezes over in Germany and the whole team are accountable.

Think you're kinda proving his point. Because they're expected to win every match, the pressure to win is there every match.

Bayern won the league last season and their CEO and DOF still had to resign as standards had slipped and someone had to be held accountable.

That type of environment doesn't exist at Spurs.

Think he stumbled on us by accident.

Seems fine to admit this now, but god he’s a boring fella. Media trained beyond belief — absolutely nothing interesting to say…
That sounds like a description of almost any professional athlete, certainly at the top level of a sport that gets a lot of media attention, and even more so for a captain of a national team.

Certain clubs and their fans demand trophies. There are too many people at Spurs who are happy just to be there and collect their salaries. At least that's how it seems to me.

I don't do much in the way of social media but I unfollowed him on Facebook today.
I really have no interest in how up he is for his new challenge and that shite keeps popping up on my timeline.

Sorry H but fuck off now!
I did exactly the same. Bored of hearing about all his new life and plans etc

someone made a good point on a podcast that I was listening to last season. The likes of Kane, Lloris, Dier, Davies etc. have probably lost around 100 games for us now. It just doesn’t hurt them anymore. That’s why they all need to be moved on.

Again, ok to admit this now - but he's an absolute blank slate. Classic modern footballer - really not very bright at all, no opinions on anything, nothing to say.

There's nothing wrong with that, but whilst we've lost a world class striker, we're certainly not going to be missing out on any other aspect of his personality.

Not sure about that, I think he is just like that in the media due to his training but different behind the scenes with his teammates.

Remember how Dele described how Kane (and Dier) were with him doesn't sound like he has no opionions or nothing to say, as it would have been easy to ignore anything going on with Dele but he didn't.

“People like Eric, Harry [Kane], Sonny [Heung-min Son] Ben [Davies]. There were a lot of players that didn’t approve of what I was doing if they knew about it and they weren’t afraid to tell me.

“Especially Harry and Eric, those two are brutally honest. When they confronted me it was never in front of other players. Sometimes they could see it in my face, it was hard to hide and they definitely weren’t pleased.”

So, they were Skechers, after all.

Prefer the all-black / all-white variants but, I've got to be honest, they look quite nice.

Simon Jordan is always worth a listen particularly when talking about spurs as he speaks to our Daniel

He then said it was great money that spurs got 86 to 90m pounds for him
