I've just been watching Ted Lasso, and I'm just assuming that you're the real Trent Crimm and read this in his voice...
Lol. Absolutely

It wouldn't surprise me at all if there is a clause ,maybe at the end of years 2 and 3 ,with a release figure if he wants to return to England. I doubt if it would be specific to us though because at the end of the day he could choose to come to us if we met the release fee anyway. First refusal is a bit of a nonsense as it still depends on the player wanting to come.Maybe his contract has a clause giving Spurs first refusal when he leaves Bayern, or at least if he returns to England.. I hope there is such a clause, just to stop the Sky clubs from signing him.
Even if he does well, which i'm fairly sure he will I reckon he will get homesick within a couple of years and agitate for a return for England. At least this time whichever team comes in will have to pay top dollar. The only way we'd get him back is if he completely flops and is available on the cheap, or on a free transfer when he's 34.
I follow Gladbach, so when the bundesliga coverage starts it's going to really hit me.No going to lie.
43 years old and gutted about this transfer. Watched Kane grow into a man.
MOTD2 montage got me again.
knew it had to happen for him, 4 years of broken promises.
never been this gutted about a player leaving before
So even when we were doing well under Conte. He just wanted out.Secret meeting and late tension - the inside story of how Harry Kane left Tottenham for Bayern
Secret London meetings, ultimatums from Kane and Bayern, but relief all round after some tensions as the Bundesliga champions get their mantheathletic.com
Kane had his heart set on leaving since 2021 and told Levy in Thailand that he wanted to go to Bayern. Had massive extension options on the table for the last 24 months and didn’t sign them. Anyone thinking he may have resigned if he stayed is living in a dreamworld.
Let's face it - it wasn't just Kane. Most fans thought Poch's time was up by the stage he was sacked, and were delighted at both the Jose and Conte appointments. It's easy to look back at the benefit of hindsight, but people really did think Poch's team, some flashy signings like Ndombele and Lo Celso, and an elite manager was the recipe to win trophies. It's crucial to have a winning strategy and stick to it, regardless of what fans, players or pundits think, and show some resilience and patience when it's needed. So even when we were doing well under Conte. A bit bitter, given we spent the last four years with dull dickheads at the helm largely to appease Kane and try to win now, but whatever.
True, but at the time I knew Mourinho was going to be a bust due to the benefit of pattern recognition. Conte surprised because I genuinely didn’t think he was going to be that much of a knob, but Harry went out of his way to spend time with Tuchel, so maybe he’s into that sort of thing.Let's face it - it wasn't just Kane. He's not wrong though is he with the bald trophy dodger in charge. Maybe he's hopeful we'll have ousted him in 4 years.the part about no regrets is a blatant way of saying that he’s moving to win trophies as he couldn’t do it at spurs.
He's there for 4 years though isn't he, if Tuchel goes chances are the next coach is better.I keep thinking about that Tuchel quote from Saturday:
"“I’m just sorry for Harry Kane. He probably thinks we haven’t trained for four weeks. Our performance today had nothing to do with what we set out to achieve. It was a very bitter evening.”
He's gone from a Spurs side with a positive atmosphere for the first time in years, and walked into another melodrama fronted by a sulky Chelsea reject who's all too eager to throw his own players under the bus. I really, really think he's going to regret this decision.
Maybe, but it's Munich. You could very much see them hiring a celebrity coach rathe than a good project manager. He's there for 4 years though isn't he, if Tuchel goes chances are the next coach is better.
