I think Carrick would have been the absolute tits under Poch but its hard to say that as he turned out to be a pretty fine player anyway.

There are few obvious ones. But one that stands out is David Howells. Striker who turned into defensive midfielder - he used to run himself into ground. In the team which had stars like Gazza & Lineker, he was the hard workign grafter behind the scenes. With his skill & determination and work rate - I am sure he would be great in a Poch side

I'd like to have seen what he could go with Livermore - felt he'd have been more useful last season than stambouli, capoue, Paulinho .

Also think Sandro could play the dier role, aggressive tackling plus dropping into the defence as needed

Zokora: a bit of direction would have been for his career. His work rate and pace would have worked great.

Davids: no doubt he would have loved playing alongside other players working and battling for everything.

Ziege: would have comfortable going forward so much.
