I ve had some great and scary times following spurs away.

Forest away just after shilts crashed his car with old Tina - non stop argen TINA throughout the game - won 3-0 as well.

Birmingham away in the 80s rather scary - missed the keith robbins bus and ended up on a coach called Von ryans express with a few LADS !! Outstanding attitude all dressed up in spurs shirts trying to get in the home end
Stopped at Northampton on our way back. got back on the coach which the police had kindly comanderred. heard over plod radio - 'spurs fans found in pub. behaving well except for one who is monkey swinging across the roof. OUTSTANDING

Dundalk away 81 - That was unreal - at least a 1000 spurs fans from NI came along for a ROW. Spent half the game dodging bricks and the other half avoiding plod. Glad they equalised. This around the Bobby sands hunger strike as well.

amsterdam 81 - 3-1

loads of other stories but these spring to mind.

best away ground for atmosphere has to be Anfield with Goodison for viewing still the worst.

I know Bradford is poor but i have spent ten years in thier press box commentating on City so cant be too bad to them.

Highlight was commentating on City v Spurs 3-3- and 1-1 - Now that has stopped i am back on the away day wagon.

Saw the 4-4 away at the emirates, that was cracking! Except sat in the red end so couldn't jump about too much

Worst ground.. Hillsborough by a country mile.. Bad when we were there in 1981 worse for Liverpool a few years later.

Stories from the past ... How many years have you got for me to tell ?

Its the only pub in the country with a pub on every corner so I believe, plus the old KLM advert on top of the stand used be the biggest in the country or something (used for the flight path to heathrow)

On a sad note, just before xmas two guys who I went to school with were involved in an incident outside the Royal Oak pub, one stabbing the other two death.
There is still a tribute to the victim outside the pub. It was a dreadful tragedy.

Crabble Stadium (stadium is definitely a poor description)
St. James' Park (probably not the one that immediately springs to mind)
