Seating question

Hey! I’m coming over from Copenhagen with my dad to see my first (finally) live game at the NLD in April.

Really excited, I’m sure I’ll have tears streaming down my face like I’m 11 years old again!

Anyway, I’m wondering which seats to get. My first thought was “holy shit these prices are insane.” My second thought was the south stand, because that would seem to me like it has the best atmosphere. Then again it’s the NLD and the whole stadium should be rocking either way, and maybe there’s also something nice about seeing the south stand from a distance.

What are people’s preferences/recommendations?

ticketing sites?
Please don't get ripped off. Either get a half season membership from the club and get on ticket exchange (should be cheap at the moment) and buy officially...

...or get a premium seat through the club, which will probably be cheaper than a dodgy rip off unauthorised ticket site.

If you go South Lower expect to stand for large parts of the game, if that's not a problem for you + dad then go for it.

Definitely what I’m leaning towards.

Is that what’s called ‘short side lower’ on the ticketing sites?

Edit: section 251-257?
yep 251-257 is south lower, probably the best for atmosphere but the whole stadium should be decent for NLD hopefully :D

Cheapest I’ve found so far is 400£ for a lower south stand ticket. Is that way above the official price?

I checked out the premium tickets, they’re like 800£+

These are good pointers.

Looks like there's 50% off membership right now. Which will allow you to attempt to buy tickets when they're released, or pick them up on the ticket exchange once sold out.

Premium seats could be a decent shout. 1882 tickets, about half way up the South Stand are great, couple of free drinks, free programme and free meal. Well worth the little extra.

It seems like the only premium tickets available are the locker room tickets for 849£ a seat.

Sounds like that might’ve been a good option though.

It's more than likely that once they're up on the ticket exchange you'd be able to get 1882 seats.

Is this direct with the club, or from a stubhub site or alternative.

Wait until closer the game and get a ticket from the club ticket exchange.

Or.... send an email to the Premium Team.

That’s from the ticket exchange, official site.

Ticket exchange opens once the fixture is sold out I think. Tickets go on sale on the 5th March.

Another question - will I be able to buy more than one ticket with the membership?

No, one membership , one ticket
That’s what I thought. Starts getting a bit pricy already then, if you need two memberships.

I understand why people who want to plan a trip months in advance from another country get the reseller tickets, to feel sure they actually get a ticket.

I bet the demand is crazy for a derby as well, on the exchange?

Even with memberships there is no guarantee of tickets , only about 6000/7000 tickets go on sale to members and there is high demand on certain matches.
