anyone see gio's goals last night

Yeah of course Lennon is our RW starter and Gio if he gets his act together would be a quality impact sub or RW back up but then again would Gio really be willing to play second fiddle when he could go back to la liga and start every game for alot of teams? Also Gio fits best into a 433 in the Messi role so again he's not your typical 442 right winger more a right sided forward who does little tracking back. There's alot of question marks over the kid not to mention the rumours of him showing up late to training on occassion but he does have undoubted potential so it will be interesting to see how Harry handles him. Truth be told I reckon he'll be gone this summer.

It's the fact that the kid has loads of potential and the season before we bought him played in over 30 games for Barcelona. He's an exciting prospect for the future even if he does leave Tottenham he'll still go on to become a quality player. I don't think we play the right system for him here as I stated in my previous post he's more of a 433 right sided forward than a right winger like Lennon. He's got alot more potential than any other youngster on the fringes of the first team at Tottenham and is already a star player for his national team more highly rated than Vela of the scum so that's probably were the Gio love comes from.

People say we aren't judging him in a Spurs shirt but how can we? He's only played a handful of games all season, and that's in between various injuries. Considering all the upheaval and the injuries I though he did quite well. He scored at great goal against Donesk. Played well against Man Yoo. He's done great at Ipswich, and yes, they are a Championship team, but he still did well to fit in within the team and make/convert chances. I fail to see how he has shown nothing that could be of any use to us.

It's not the only reason though I've watched him play and seen the undoubted talent and potential he has look at the first goal he scored in the Mexico game there that took some skill and look at the goal he scored against Shakatar another gem plus the hat-trick he scored in his last game for Barca. If Taarabt ever did anything like that there'd be a wankfest to the high heavens by alot of Spurs fans. All I'm saying is Gio has alot more potential than any other young Spurs player on the fringes of the first team. He's pretty much nailed on to become a quality player when he gets older whether that's with us or not.

In regards to the game against Shakthar, I was in the Paxton for that game and remember being really excited about GDS in the starting line up. He scored a good goal, but he was very, very average for the rest of the 90 mins. Good goals don't make players great, Bentley scored a better goal against Arse but everyone hates him!

All I'm saying is Gio has undoubted potential not that he's a world beater or anything. Bentleys goal was also more of a hit and hope job too but hey it came off for him probably the only thing that did all of last season.
