Apart from a Sky-like bias towards Liverpool (ie Lawro) and Chelsea,, (money) the BBC are biased towards Manchester as they are now in Salford, so the Manchester clubs are correspondingly more important too. It's the kind of bias that comes with excessive self-regatd.

There are a few ex Spurs on radio but tv is bbc not sky.
I dont mind who does it as long as they've no history with whos actually playing or if they do can we have both sides of the coin please.
It works both ways as well. When Clive Allen or Waddle do it they sometimes actually go the other way, knocking us and you wonder what game they're watching.
I'm sure it wouldnt be beyond the powers of all these big media outlets to have a commentator from both teams or neither but it seems very 1 sided most of the time.
Not just for Spurs. You had Newcastle Sunderland last season with bloody Nial Quinn commentating ffs, I mean really???

No the didn't, Hargreaves and Savage had us finishing top 4.

My apologies, even still, they were completely dismissive of us as per usual.

Frankly, I enjoy us being under the radar and talked down, we play better when the pressure isn't on us.

This.

The looks of despair and utter horror on the faces of all at the BBC and SKY if we win the league would truly be a sight to behold.

It wouldn't happen though. If we won the title it would be Lineker, Jenas and one other on Match of the day lapping it up.

J redknapp cannot and will not ever be considered a pro spurs pundit imo.

Jenas I really like.

I don't care. We've won 6 on the bounce. And unlike previous seasons where I'd fully expect us to lose the next match - we are such an accomplished side that winning away at Man City is entirely possible.

Everything's going well:
  • we are playing brilliant football
  • we have the best manager in the world
  • we have the best striker, goal keeper, CBs, fullbacks and midfield pairings in the world
  • our best players have all signed new contracts
  • our players are young
  • our closest rivals can only compete with us by spending tens of millions on players
  • we have a new stadium (literally) on the horizon
  • we are going to win the league
  • our chairman has no hair
The euphoria I'm experiencing is not because I got laid last night (a big deal for a married man with kids) - but it completely negates any such articles. We smacked up a team 8th in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Everything is awesome. Everything is cool when your part of a dream...

Sounds like it's all going well. Just don't let your wife find out you got laid last night and it will be perfect.

Especially when it was probably by A&C in drag!

Nah. He's slowly getting over his bitterness about Levy sacking his dad. He's been quite nice about us recently.

With all due respect, do you want Ian Wright and Danny Murphy sucking our dicks? Why does it bother anyone how much praise we get. Maybe it's just me and that it doesn't resonate with me but I read the papers and go 'ok'

I'll take gabby logan definitely though,

It wasn't really about the people per say, more that Chelsea scoring without Costa was more amazing than Spurs destroying another Premier League team.

I always get frustrated by the media, but there's a way for us to shut them all up at the end of the day: trophies. This squad is more than capable.

Biased punditry is the single biggest factor in making watching football annoying.
I used this in my reason for cancelling Sky.
I would rather watch a stream with foreign commentary. What does a 'pundit' contribute who is totally partizan? It just makes no sense to me.

1. Every club thinks there's a media bias against them.

2. There's no media bias against Spurs.

Sorry but I disagree. 99% of the pundits on tv and the radio are ex gooners, Liverpool, Chelsea or Man U players. Even the tv and radio presenters follow these clubs. They cant help but be biased.
Christ alive mate we get Alan fkin Smith commentating nearly every game. He couldnt give a constructive unbiased assessment of the game if his life depended on it.
We play Liverpool and we get ex gooners for the match and ex Liverpool in the bloody studio.

I actually think you're both right. Every supporter wants a bit more of their team being covered and a bit less of their direct rivals.

Saying that, the way things have been for 10 years, it is understandable why there's a bias for the "Sky 4". They have much larger revenue streams and have been more successful in the modern era and so garner more coverage.

What I think is good however, is that the more "under the radar" we remain, the better we will perform. I don't know if our peaking last season, bringing us into those "predictors" of who will finish where and our fixture comparisons did us any good. Did me no good as a fan...

I thought the team coped really well considering we played catch up every week, playing on the Sunday after Leicester but we were still a little naive and inexperienced when it came to the crunch.

This year, I don't care if the BBC, Sky and BT have a cum-fest over Mourinho, Klopp, Conte and Guardiola. It's clear to me we have the best coach of them all and I'd like everyone to leave us alone to continue to wipe the floor with all that 'cum' before us.

COYS!

BBC everyday during the week had a feature on their site on Pogba, including one day where they had an interview and 2 articles on the bbc front page

Couldn't have said it better myself.

J Redknapp is the worst. Clearly has a massive issue with the club, probably over us firing his dad.

I thought he & Henry were quite fair in their Spurs vs West Brom analysis, if not flattering. Christ, Redknapp even had Henry admit Spurs could finish above the Scum this year.

If you want anti spurs bias and incompetence of the highest level you should have seen BT talking about us.

Scholes, Savage and Hargreaves, the latter thinks we need another Bale to win the league as we apparently don't have any world class players.

Scholes thinks we lack the bottle to win it and him and Savage think it will be us and Arsenal that finish outside of the top four because apparently the other teams are better than us both LOL.

Essentially they are going for Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Man United haha.

that little ginger &*&^ that could never tackle now commentates but cant articulate
