This thread is shameful guys. Seriously! Look at some of the posts from City fans yesterday. FFS we can't be going down the same road as that! Get a grip on yourselves.

So BT Sports are ****s, Sky Sports are ****s, the BBC are biased ****s..........

I have to ask..........why are people sitting through it if its so awful? `Is it as bad on the radio? Perhaps try watching the game with the volume off and the radio on, or just the volume off. then don't watch the after match comments.

If they are that bad why actually choose sit through it and then moan about it seems very very strange to me, just watching the game without the volume on would seem the way forward to me if its that bad......

Personally, I don't think they are anywhere near as bad as people make out, yes, sometimes they say some silly things but there's not one of us, not a single one that's not done the same. There's no pre-thought out anti Spurs agenda. There really isn't and i've heard plenty of pundits giving us heaps of priase, including several of SC's favourite ****s.

As I said earlier, this is a self feeding entity and its like a mass paranoia, people are actually looking for the smallest stick to beat any media outlet or personality with.

They aren't biased against us, like you said, that's just paranoid bullshit. But I do think the standard of coverage is generally shite and dumbed down to the lowest level possible. It's mostly the same old cliches wheeled out again and again, and cringeworthy banter banter banter.

If I could watch football with just the crowd noise I would.

Well classic BBC, poor old Man City, Shearer 'that's not handball for me, ball to hand not hand ball', no close up view, just move on to the next Man City injustice!! What a joke!!! Also no mention of the foul on Wanyama before their first!!

Shearer's a joke.

I don't think there is a particular bias against us but some of the articles are stupid. For example on the BBC sport home page at the moment is an entire article on "should sterling have been awarded a penalty". The article may as well just say "yes".

In the same vein, how can you talk about arsenal scoring a 98th minute winner without putting it in the same light "was koscielny offside?" how far do you go? Do you discuss every single incident?

There was another one last weekend trying to make out Walker should have been sent off against West Brom. I'll not hold my breath waiting for the 'Was Arsenal's 97th minute penalty wrongly awarded?' video.

So for every negative comment or clip they must find a negative one regarding the opposition to balance it out.

This is getting more and more ridiculous as it gathers momentum :D

Not what I said though, is it?

If the BBC deem it worthy to put together a video debating one contentious decision you would think it's not an absolute one-off and that they would do similar for other contentious decisions.

I just think it would be easier for the BBC to write an article saying "referees are humans and sometimes make mistakes" and leave it at that

To be fair they have limited time and we've already seen close up shots when they replayed the goal. The balls hit at him from about a foot away so he has no time to react, his arms aren't outstretched and are close to his chest, and when it does hit his hand there's no way any of the officials can see it anyway. On the other hand the Walker push is obvious from almost anywhere in the stadium, the player admits to the foul and we then go straight up the other end and score. It's no wonder they spent more time on that incident.

You've clarified my point, Walker's push was obvious but they replayed it in close up, the hand ball wasn't yet we got one comment from Shearer and no replay!!! Sane did move his arm to the ball to control it, watch it again!

The Walker/Sterling incident was the biggest talking point of the weekend, are they supposed to ignore it? They are a bloody news site.

It's not an agenda against Spurs, they are just talking about what's gone on this weekend. No one cares about Koscielny being offside because it's fucking boring.

There is no conspiracy or bias against Spurs. We have not been denied trophies or CL qualification etc through anything other than our own failings (even if there was a whiff of suspicion about the Lasagna incident, we should have wrapped up fourth spot already).

The BBC are not bias against us. There is however no doubt that Sky like the established money teams, but that's hardly surprising. They worship at the alter of money, they created the damn monster in the first place. As others have said though, if the pundits offend you, don't fucking listen to them. Which is exactly what I intend to do when we play the scousers on Liverpool TV, er sorry I mean BT Sport. Don't think I can take that, so I'll do something else, check the score and then if we win I'll watch the entire coverage from start to finish with a smug grin on my face.

Motty has always had a soft spot for Spurs, don't fret it it. Now Sky on the other hand ... Which one of you is the producer on soccer Saturday?!

We've generally been media darlings so I'm surprised to read this. What did make me laugh though was Sky switching to the Top 6 instead of top 4 now UTD are predominantly not in the top 4!

I'm sure it's not a coincidence that they've also lost the rights to show the champions league matches too.

West Ham offered to postpone, and then to replay, that match. The Premier League voted against this (or against us).
